Will JOK ever play football again? CONFLICTING REPORTS surround Browns’ linebacker’s future

While many Browns fans have envisioned a dream linebacker duo of 2025 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Carson Schwesinger and 2023 Pro Bowler Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, it’s not expected to come to fruition.

Owusu-Koramoah, who suffered a serious neck injury in a violent collision with Ravens running back Derrick Henry on Oct. 27, 2024, is doubtful at best to ever make it back to the playing field, a league source tells cleveland.com. The Browns’ second-round pick in 2021 out of Notre Dame, Owusu-Koramoah sat out all of last season while recuperating from the injury, which involved a serious, visible compression of his neck. | https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2026/02/how-its-doubtful-that-browns-lb-jeremiah-owusu-koramoah-will-ever-return-to-the-field-mary-kay-cabot.html

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers fan here I don’t understand the Cleveland media or fan when so many times in sports. We see a player get injured and they have to do fundraising just so he can pay for his doctor visit and rehab. The Cleveland Brown owner steel capthis man on the roster and and still paying him when they know he won’t play another down. Most owners in the league would say cutting and that’s the nature of the business in my last point the Browns owner is saying F everybody is about Cleveland. Yes Deshaun Watson didn’t paying out, but let’s not act like he wasn’t one of the best quarterbacks in the league in the Brown said if everybody else it’s about trying to bring a winner to Cleveland your owner walks to his own beat. That’s why he brought Sanders in when everybody else turned them back Cleveland media and fans y’all need to get behind your owner and your quarterback as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I sure hate to come to Cleveland, Ohio and play.

  2. I dont understand why neck rolls (like the HANS device) aren't mandatory for folks to have on. No matter how many times you tell people to look up and see what you are hitting guess what NO ONE DOES. So adapt the equipment till they get the hint.
