1. Mathew’s is in Toronto for the money 💰, that’s it. He can’t win a Stanley cup for Toronto.

2. As a Canadian when I heard that reporter ask him that question post game about Toronto. I was so embarrassed as a proud Canadian. You don't ask anyone that type of question right after winning a gold medal on a different stage. I thought the question was scum bag. Ask him when he's back in Toronto. I thought that was abuse on the athlete man. I think the reporter should be sued. I'm serious man. Garbage.

7. Congrats to Auston Matthews, he played well both defensively and offensively. Being a Hockey Captain requires more responsibilities on and off the ice in which he proved that in his quiet nature.
   It's Apples and Oranges to compare the Leafs to the USA Olympic Team. It would have been better for overtime to be 5 vs 5 instead of 3 vs 3, but of course due to Olympic Time Constraints it was not possible.

Having watch the olympic hockey tournament I found the officiating armature at best – These are pro players and not rookies so to use rookie officials was disgusting to say the least – I witnessed missed calls, calls that didn`t exist and a whole level of incompetence that`s unacceptable in todays NHL – The olympics are supposed to be for armatures about to turn pro – It`s about time hockey teams are made up from the OHL / AHL etc leaving the NHL schedule alone – The amount of injuries from the condensed schedule this year has hurt every team – As for team Canada they out played the US but could not capitalize on the opportunities given

    If I recall correctly the only reason pro hockey players got in was because of the Russian notional team were classified as armature but in reality were professionals – Since Russia was not invited to this particular olympics as well top Russians in are the NHL why would the olympic committee keep this facade up? Oh how silly of me $$$$ – Yet If your a paid athlete in any other sport you are deemed a professional and unable to compete in the olympics – smh on the double standards in this corrupt organization that leaves a trail of destruction in wake of these games

    As for matthews the question becomes will he or won`t he step up for this team? Considering he`s got his gold metal does a Stanley cup (made of silver and made in Canada) pail in comparison? Also he was the team USA captain so why did he allow Kash Patel in the dressing room to party after the win? He knows the damage that person is causing – the guy who stands behind the bully saying he`s going to get you – a gutless prick – he should have asked him to leave if they want a non political celebration –
