I got to tell you I might get flack for this but I’m tired of these players on the rangers with no loyalty and commitment to this team ..get rid of them ..it may have been a joke but you play for the rangers you don’t run to take a pic with another team ..and gavrikov wanted out now ..trade these guys and as much as I hate drury someone needs to set a tone either be loyal to this team or get out !!!

  14. I don't know the players involved here but I will say that Chris Drury has single handedly destroyed the NY Rangers and his boss must accept some responsibility as well.(Dolan) I think this team needs a retool of their management management.

  15. IF Trocheck is traded, Dreary better get back: 1. a first in '26, 2. an NHL ready YOUNG player of note, and 3. either a B prospect or a 2nd or 3rd round pick this upcoming draft. Otherwise, I would keep him and give him the C.

  16. Mika (32 – $8.5M) Miller (32 – $8M) Laffy (24 – $7.5M) Trochek (24 – $7.5M) Hot targets are Mika and Trochek. Mika is now on the radar for others after the Olympics. So, if the right package of NHL ready and a pick, take it and off load the debt. Trochek, on the other hand, has more value. Trochek has IMMEDIATE impact. should get a good return depending on the team. Teams on bubble or in the hunt may not want to jive their roster too much……but NYR would shed the debt. Same for Miller. Now that leaves Laffy. Do you give him another year to come back, or do you unload him now for a combo, HNL ready player, prospect and a pick?? There are potentially a good year for UVAs coming.

  19. follow up …. if the tabloids and rumors are correct, and Gavrikov wants out of NY, get him to waive his protection and send him packing. No matter how you look at this, its a complete rebuild. Sullivan is a proven coach and hockey mind and took this job to change the attitude (not culture) of the team and / or bring guys in to move in that direction.
