Go Cards!
I'm sorry if your trying to make a team falling asleep and getting picked off doesn't get it.
Yohel!
Torre had little to work with, he went to the Yankees and had a lineup he could work with. Ollie has little to work with this year.
I havent heard a word about Dustin May. Whats going on there?
I can see Brant Brown catching a lot of heat from people again this year, forgetting they were the same ones ready to give him a bronze statue at the end of May last year. I can see Dusty Blake catching the same heat again this year. Oh well.
Those people who get triggered by the mere mention of the name 'Oli' have ODS: Oli Derangement Syndrome. They refuse to look at what he's done, just blame him for everything as being his fault. It's a cop out. These are the exact same people that conveniently forget there was PLENTY of noise to fire TLR at the beginning of his tenure with the Cardinals. TLR lost the NLCS in his first season, then had 2 sub-.500 seasons and 1 season just over .500 before going on to dominate and giving St. Louis 2 World Series victories. There was also another sub-.500 season in there, after his 1st WS, but nobody seems to remember all of that. Oh well.
The players like Oli and when he’s forced to play guys like Walker and Gorman and his big names are just bad I mean what’s he supposed to do. Managers are overrated at the professional level anyway a player can either play or they can’t? Oli is the DughWitts yes man so I don’t think he’s going anywhere.
I was surprised that the Seattle double arm pitcher was send down so soon. It only cost STL our favorite son, Donovan!
All the whiners about the offense, pitching, Walker Gorman, need to take a chill pill. If you are taking spring training seriously you should also take note that we are sitting at .600 and only 2.5 games out of first place. Wow, get a grip. Let's wait and see what happens.
Life long cards fans. As far as poor offense so far I hate to say it but we're probably going to see a bit of that in 2026
And as far as starting pitching goes other than Libby I'm concerned about that until the young bucks are ready to go fitts matthews. Etc
Marmol is fine for now. I dont think Yadi or Albert will get picked up before the lockout. We are not the only team to be worried about the lockout. Albert didn't get the Angels job. That said a lot to me.
Poor offense, use to it since 2023. Pozo is serious, looks healthier, and is showing why the cards kept even with all the catching depth.
