As a SOFLO local I was fully stoked to catch some cardinals spring training until I saw these prices. For comparison the Marlins v Astros are $15, Venezuela vs Nicaragua WBC is $24 and the heat game the same day is $25.
The on field product is already sub par but these prices for a spring training game during the WBC where no stars (if we even have them anymore) will be playing.
Please explain to me like a 5 year old how I’m supposed to support this team?
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Shocking that the Arby’s family is gouging its fans for as much cash as possible. It’s almost like they don’t care about the product on the field, the fans, or anything really outside of the all mighty dollar. I get that its a business, but this is not the way.
Radio is free if you’re inside cardinals radio network. If you’re outside it, mlb+ is $60 for the season and you get radio for all 30 teams.
It funny that in this day and age of dynamic pricing, you’d think a team doesn’t want fans to attend. Tickets are that high, because people are buying them. They can make more money with at least $61/ticket with a not full stadium than they can at $15/ticket on a sellout. Those cheaper games aren’t as big of a draw. Whether you agree or not, fans still want to watch this team.
It’s because today’s game is against the Mets, who have a huge contingent of Florida fans who leave NY in the winter.
You can find tickets for most Cardinals spring games for like $15-$25 bucks if you know [where to look](https://www.tickpick.com/mlb/st-louis-cardinals-tickets/?utm_source=shareLink&utm_medium=performerPage&utm_campaign=share_performerPage).
They’ll be lucky to draw 1.5 million fans this year.
It’s because of the Mets, not the Cardinals
Spring training is also disproportionately wealthier people making the trip to watch baseball.
Do the teams even set the price for spring training games? But seriously stub hub will have sub $20 tickets for real games once the season starts.
Are you sure that not just because it’s 2 hours before the game and all the cheap seats are gone?
You do understand the concept of reselling tickets don’t you?
Indeed
Go to the all-you-can-drink Coca-Cola section in the regular season and show your hatred for P***stine.
