[PPGT] Après Ski | Avs vs mild | The Nail Bite Edition

Might have been Burns worst game in an Avs sweater.
The power play will be the death of us in the playoffs.
Something needs to be done. Can we fire Hakstol and hire any random normie from the crowd …. it’s painful listening to a whole arena yelling “SHOOT THE PUCK” while we pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass turnover every time.
On a side note, the hockey card for Penguins show Solo and Sammy G being their top pair in their most recent game. Happy to see those two together and doing well. Meanwhile, Kulak is also a great addition to the Avs. Absolutely no complaints.
Maybe they need to take Burns off the 2nd PK and give him less ice time. It has been a long season and he might need to rest up for him to be most effective.
Avs are gonna have to start running drills in practice where everyone covers themselves whenever Cale winds up for a slapper. He tried to take out Nelson yesterday lol.
This 6 game stretch from Chicago through the Oilers game tomorrow was the biggest stretch of the season to date. Winning the first 5 was massive. We should have a big enough buffer to coast the rest of the way and rest our legs for the playoffs now
The Avs played well in a matinee game!! Kinda nice the Avs played early yesterday and don’t play until 8pm tomorrow night. I know not quite, but almost like having an extra day off.
Really excited to see kadri get some chemistry with Necas and Nelson
Kadri, Roy and Kulak all at the top of the game score card, love to see that.
Feels like every 5-6 games Burns has a bleh/bad game. I was curious to see how his stats have stacked up this year compared to last year and he’s seemingly had a bounce back defensive year, and his EV offense is still over 50% even if it’s starting to dip.
With the Kulak emergence Burns has finally settled into the third pair role we brought him in for + PP2. Hopefully he’s saving his gas for the playoffs.
Stars fans still losing their minds and starting to bring up the past (like the always do) to cope we are going to win the West lmao
