The Cincinnati Bengals made two huge moves on day one of the legal tampering period, agreeing with safety Bryan Cook and edge rusher Boye Mafe to 3-year deals to raise the floor of a defense that desperately needs talent.

  14. I think they need 2 LB. Chenal for sure, but bring in a veteran as back up and to provide leadership. Wagner, Milano, David all players I’d take in that kind of role. This defense needs leaders and they just brought in 2 Super Bowl winners in their prime.

    Do we think Cook is better than Downs? Lol
    Prediction- bengals do minimum rest of FA, reach on Woods, draft a early day 2 LB and mid round DE and pat themselves on the back for a great offseason while adding nothing else remarkable but a dart throw TE and depth piece late for the OL.

  20. Forget about defense. We need an oline that will protect our "Franchise QB" so he can have a full healthy season and so he can actually produce for us instead of taking all these hits thinking he's fine. The Bengals are my team forever but if y'all don't fix this n I hate to say this… But if y'all not bout to help Joe Burrow so he can play to his fullest potential. Then y'all might as well cut ties so y'all don't kill his career. Smh at y'all. #GETITTOGOTHERFRONTOFFICE&THEGM&THEOWNER. Stop focusing on loyalty not saying it's a bad thing but they not really loyal if they too afraid to tell you that you suck at making decisions for the team and your hendering our progress cause we can be so much better than we are now. We're supposed to be the Superbowl 56 champs and I believe we should of won at least two more by now. But as you can see loyalty not getting us anywhere but to be the 33rd team in the NFL

  24. I think both of those guys are good signings, but unless it happened really late I’m surprised they didn’t sign a couple more guys on defense. The defense was historically bad, they need to find some guys whose floor is at least the NFL average at their position.

    Please don’t sugarcoat how bad the defense was last year!

  25. Leo Chenal or Kaden Elliss, Logan Hall or Javon Hargrave, and Arnold Ebikete to wrap it up in addition to some depth pieces. Hopefully they aren't done.

  27. Running out of backup QB options. Hopefully Joe Flacco re-signs. Geno Stone and Kyler Murray (league min) are the only viable options available.
