How much different would the Browns’ situation be right now if CLE drafted Travis Hunter last year?
If the Cleveland Browns had taken Travis Hunter last year, the entire conversation around this team would feel different — not fixed, but different in a real, noticeable way.
Start with the obvious: playmaking. Hunter gives you something Cleveland has been missing — a true, dynamic, game-changing presence. Whether you view him as a wide receiver or a corner, he instantly raises the ceiling. On offense, he becomes a legit weapon who can create separation, make plays after the catch, and take pressure off the rest of the group. On defense, you’re adding a ball-hawking corner who can flip possessions. Either way, the Browns would have a player that forces opponents to adjust every single week.
But here’s where it really changes things — identity and flexibility. Right now, the Browns are still trying to figure out exactly what their offense is supposed to be. With Hunter, you have a centerpiece you can build around creatively. You can script touches, manufacture mismatches, and give your quarterback a safety blanket. And if you sprinkle in his defensive ability situationally? Now you’re talking about a unique roster advantage that very few teams have. That alone shifts how you approach both roster building and game planning.

“According to my sources” Sanders was getting drafted 2nd overall to the browns before NFL did the “stuff”
This is coming out because everyone keeps saying browns want out of pick 6 which could cause people to lowball them the night of the draft so they want it known that they will pick a player if they like them unless you can give them a godfather offer
So why can’t u think like that about shedeur bull … same analogy that because Travis isn’t a superstar now doesn’t mean he won’t become one!! If u pay attention that’s why G bush referring to Dustin because of his background of actually playing football 😂
SHOULD'VE TAKEN TRAVIS HUNTER!!! HE'S LEGIT GOING TO BE A DIFFERENCE MAKER 2 WAY PLAYER!! ( and please shut up about getting Judkins, Browns could've gotten Henderson and Graham is AVERAGE AT BEST!! )
The browns not exploiting hunter and sanders chemistry to win is a browns thing they’d do 😂
Browns would still be bad. They don't have a QB. Shedeur was trash threw 7 tds and 10 ints and had the worst passer rating and completion percentage in the entire NFL. Hunter got hurt and didn't do much when healthy either. Browns need a QB.
Krazy part is the Browns and A Berry wasn’t trading no down in the previous years, last year was basically a first and now everyone is speaking like “ Well A Berry loves to trade down and we expect him to do so again “
never got the Hunter hype… was the the best WR in the draft? no… was he the best CB in the draft? no… so why would you draft him #2? are you trying to save a roster spot?
If the browns draft Travis do they draft sanders in second
IMHO, if the Browns had drafted Travis and Shedeur, like the Bengals drafted Burrow and Chase, and given both of those young men the entire offseason to prepare for last season, the Browns today would be sitting pretty, knowing they have a very accurate and mature QB, they have a great corner/WR and they would have electrified this team. Shalom family.
