And the crowd goes mild.
Good news. He’s a big kid. Won’t provide offense but a strong defensive defenseman that will play physical. I have heard comparisons to Mikkola.
We’ll see how he does in the AHL.
It’s going to be fun to see which guys make the roster out of training camp and who’s left to battle for minutes in Springfield. Between Lindstein, Buchinger, Ralph, Fisher, and Koromyslov, the spots at LD are going to be super competitive
Weird. I thought entry level deals were 3 years? 🧐
just imagine if we had this guy the kid from buffalo and a pick from buff…but nah..parayko screwed our rebuild
Very interesting how this all plays out. Who does the Blues project as their guy(s) moving forward at LHD?
Broberg is their #1 guy. As well he should be. Fowler has a three year contract that isn’t really movable, should they want to move him, until two deadlines from now at the earliest. So Fowler is here for another season and a half at the least.
Lindstein looked great in his short stint this year. Lots of ability. He’s also the smallest LHD of any candidate we are discussing. Doesn’t mean he’s the least capable. He’s looked great. Id be happy with him penciled in to start next year where he ended this year.
Now all of a sudden you’ve got Ralph and Koromyslov at the AHL under contract. Koromyslov has already been playing against men in the KHL, you’ve got to assume he’s close to NHL ready. He’s moving over here from Russia because he and the Blues think he can play and play soon. Ralph is a big ole beast with speed and he’s already playing AHL games. People that I read think he’s close to ready.
Soon as Fischer finished his junior season he will sign and be ready for his spot in the AHL too. I’ve got people I read that think Fischer is a soon to be top 4 guy.
Can’t keep all these guys.
So many possible moves. Lindstein could be part of a trade and the Blues could go with Broberg, Fowler Tucker to start next year at LHD. Or they could start Koromyslov in the NHL he’s going to be what 23?
To add to all this, it’s possible the BPA when the Blues draft is Alberts Smits.
Spitballing here. What about Lindstein and the Blues last pick in the 1st round for Nemec. Something like that.
at first I thought this was the Russian guy we got from Detroit that has cold feet coming over to the US.
