I like that we’ve been able to see Geno open up as a person over the years. He reminds me of one of my European friends who’s always so blunt with his words, but so loving. No matter what I’ve been through, my friend will always comment on my weight, but because he loves me and he wants me to be healthy and he’s just open about it. Like when Geno saw Hornqvist when he came to visit and instantly goes, “Oh man, where’s you hair!? It’s not there! You bald! See mine I still have mine!” Lmao, like, it’s so tactless, but he just smiles and jokes through everything and then you hear how touching it is for him when fans cheer for him and he says things like “I feel like crying”.
I saved the video of him going to deliver season tickets to a House that CLEARLY loves Sidney Crosby(even named their dog Crosby), and he’s just so damn goofy and lovable. “I think I need change MY name to Sid” lmao. I fucking love this guy, and I’m so damn happy he stayed in my city to be a Penguin for life.
