I have been saying forever that Jack hasn’t been able to grow into his peak form because he could never have a full offseason to train. Like Nico did a few years ago Jack has a chance to put on some weight and get better in every aspect of his game. 100+ next season.

  1. One of my end of season goals post Olympics knowing they were out of the race was for Jack to make it through the rest of the season healthy and make it to exit interviews for the first time in 3 years. I’m happy he did it. We can only hope he makes it through a majority of next season without major injuries.

  2. Does that include conditioning, and/or a working plan to duplicate Dawgson’s durability?

  3. Someone shoot Frank the Tank into the Sun because I can’t deal with that clown ruining the Devils again after what’s looking to be a putrid Mets season.

  4. i didn’t hear the whole interview, did he say anything about training? because knowing jack, that quote probably refers to going to six flags or something lol

  5. Nico has always had a full offseason. He goes to the worlds and then trains. He just bulked up this season. idk where your info is coming from. even last year when he got hurt during worlds he still trained.

  6. Jack is a rink rat with elite skill who will never bulk up excessively & he is know not to be a gym guy.

    – PK would say that & last Summer Jack himself basically confirmed it. He was asked if he changed any of his Summer training/workouts to gain more muscle & answered zesty as hell cleary unhappy with the question by saying why would I change anything, do you like my game? the way I play is good, yeah exactly so why would I change anything.

I think he matured by truly seeing what it takes to Win w/the best of the best players at Olympics. For that reason this will be the summer Jack finally takes that next level physically.

No he won’t get jacked but will be cut basically solid muscle like Quinn & Bratt. They’re strengths are agility, speed, & evasiveness just like Jack & both stay cut not yoked where it would diminish their strengths.

It also should help become harder to knock off the puck or get thrown down / out muscled off the puck which make it harder for him to get hurt & he’s only improve at the dot.

Oh yeah be less nervous about getting hit & playing behind the net or near boards which will take his game to his true peak performance💯💯
