  1. I know we’re all salty about another disappointing season and tonight was no exception but I wanted to preserve the final moments of another season for the Winged Wheel and with Ken and Mick

  5. No leadership. No true captain. If we can’t trade Larkin. He doesn’t deserve to be captain. Put that on his head, nothing else seems to be up there. Captain.

  12. As a West Virginian fan, that song playing at the end really stings. I had so much hope for this season. Such a shame the collapsed so bad.

  14. Start giving out floggings in practice for the bottom performers from the previous game. They’ll skate hard to avoid the whip.

I thought perhaps this team and rebuild could be salvaged, but now I don’t think so. Time to blow it up and rebuild the rebuild. Who is the cancer inside the locker room and running the shit show and players mutiny?

    Maybe be next year on opening night Stevie arranges to have each player on the team throw octopus into the crowd

  27. Jesus that was brutal. Just a soul crushing end to the season. I love the wings and will always support them but his team needs a change, and a big one at that. The March collapse feels like some kind of curse they have to break and I don’t think they know how.

    I’ll be ready for October when it comes; I always am. It’s the best part of the year, every year — unless you make a deep run.

    But it would be nice if I felt like I had something to be excited about in October.

  46. I was at the game…. Left at the end of the 2nd period… I’ve been a hockey fan since 1994, wings fan at 1995, I’ve never left a game early .. this was EMBRASSING.

  49. Thats a group of genuine losers. Grown men made millionaires from the game they love and they cant even show out to end the season. They need to look themselves in the mirror and decide if they want to be spineless men the rest of their lives.
