  1. Believe it or not (you’ll believe it) this is the first Astros win this season when we’ve scored 5 runs or fewer.

  2. Huge shoutouts to Enyel for being locked in, and how great is it to get 6 IP from Spencer let’s get the sweep!

  3. I think that’s the first stress free ninth inning we’ve had all season.

Except when we were up by like a bunch, I’m only counting save situations.

  4. Excellent starting pitching, just enough offense and a closer to seal the deal in the 9th. Ladies and gentlemen we might actually be back.

  5. It’s so good to see Spencer back. His last two innings of work especially were filthy. 10Ks, a QS and a win to start his 2026 season is chef’s kiss.

  6. Stopped using Abreu as closer- back to back saves. Huge W for the team and fans.

  7. Been a hot minute since we held our opponent to one run. The hell happened in that road trip?

  8. We were feasting on some Spaghetti tonight, y’all.

We were able to win a low scoring game without a bullpen surrendering a run. Spaghetti fanning 10 with a QS. Abreu with a 1-2-3 inning. Has De Los Santos taken the reins as the closer until Hader returns? How fast does Altuve’s nails grow?

We won back-to-back games and can return being swept with a sweep of our own tomorrow night. Why shouldn’t we do so?

It’s back on the menu, everyone!

Great game, happy we have a winning streak going for a change.

  10. Safe to say, keep Abreu away from ninth inning. He looks hell a lot better in non save plus non ninth inning

  11. Crazy that the Rockies bullpen has been so great. Amazing work from our guys pitching today!

  12. Id like to see De Los Santos/King “platoon” for the ninth inning. I trust them as of right now

  13. Rewatching that Yordan bomb and I’m in awe. Dude hit a fucking laser and he barely had his feet under him. It looked to me like he was swinging for a fastball; somehow in a split second reads that it’s a slider and slows his upper half down just enough to barrel it, and still had enough power to hit a piss missile with his back leg kicked out. That’s fucking special. Dude is so locked in right now.

  14. Mariners just had a meltdown in the 9th and got walked off. Thank you Padres

  15. The turns have tabled! Mariners had a 6-2 lead in the 9th… they just lost 6-7.

    Padres walked it off.

M’s have the best bullpen ERA in all baseball, btw.
