1. This is a game of inches. A lot of these players were in recent Super Bowls. They’re not ass. In many cases you just need to clean up a few areas and adjust coaching.

4. I would love to see us trade down to 12 with the Cowboys and pick up a 3rd rounder. That is if they want Tyson. I do not see a world where the Cowboys or the Bengals pick him, and while the Dolphins need some help at WR I do not see them taking Tyson. Allows us to grab maybe an extra corner or a TE in the 3rd, or use it as ammo to trade back up in the first and look for someone in the low 20's. Seems like a lot of mocks have Cowboys trading up… especially if Sonny Styles is there.

5. So, "there's no concern about Josh Simmons when it comes to him playing football," which seems to say that there is a concern, but it just has nothing to do with his abilities as a football player. He missed games due to his family's situation last year, and this comment makes it sound like that's still possibly a concern. I hope this is not really the case, and we still have our LT for sure in Simmons. He seems to be THE guy for our LT. He's gotta get healthy, and we need him every game of the season. If he ends up taking time off again while healthy, I just don't know if the team can go in that direction long-term. What a mess that would be.

7. I was in on Bain at 9 until I saw the stat that in the last 20 years not a single player with arms less than 31 inches has has a season with double digit sacks. Add to that he has refused to run a 40 yard dash and I'm certainly less enthusiastic than I was. I won't hate the pick, but I'll be nervous about it.

    I’m 47 and been a Chiefs fan living in SoCal since 1989. I used to have the Costacos Brothers poster that had Neil Smith/DT on it with the KC Skyline and freeways in the background that said “Rush Hour”.

    I now live in East Texas …….. very very close to Mahomes old HS 😉😉 and still follow the Chiefs although not as hardcore. Still root for KC though.

I just cant get behind giving away draft picks (especially a potential Top 100 pick) when this team has so many needs on both sides of the ball to move up for Bain, I say stay put and go Delanne with 9 or a small trade down (my preference) and take TJ Parker in the teens while gaining more draft capitol. There is no question that edge has to be the first pick, cant wait until 29 because the 2nd tier guys will almost certainly be gone as well!

I would like Ruben Bain Jr at number 9 and Keionte Scott at 29 just to keep that chemistry because I think in football chemistry could be a big thing and every time I seen Scott Blitz and get a sack he came right behind that monster R.Bain Jr just saying

25. Almost everything said in this video I've been saying in the comments on these videos for months.
    1) The only way a tackle is taken at 1(9) is if there is an undisclosed issue with Simmons. A RT, the only known immediate need in the o-line, can be found later in the draft.
    2) Tyson, if healthy, is the best receiver for the Chiefs because he can line up wide and create separation through superior route running better than anyone else in the draft. No other WR on the team can do this consistently. However, he is scheduled to run on the 17th in a private workout. Until that happens and they are satisfied with the results, all mocks having them taking him are blowing smoke. The team won't touch him in the first round until they've seen him run and their doctors have cleared him.
    3) The Chiefs have already invested heavily in the most glaring offensive weakness, the running game. They not only added the best back from free agency, and SB MVP, in Kenneth Walker, they picked up a second back who would've started for the team had he been a Chief last season.
    4) The most personnel losses this offseason came on the defensive side of the ball. That is where the majority of the draft should be spent. Fortunately, the draft is weighted towards defensive talent this year.
    5) In no universe, should the Chiefs trade up in this draft because there are too many areas that must be addressed. Trading up, even a few spots, is incredibly costly in the first 6 or 7 selections of the draft. It will likely cost, at the very least, their 2nd round pick and maybe more.
    6) I've cooled on the idea of Sadiq since I first mentioned being able to trade back and select him back in December. He projects as a smallish TE that would likely be used often as a large slot receiver. The problem is that that is the only position Rice has had any success from because he can't create separation when lining up wide.

26. I like Tyson a lot, but selecting him early is not wise. I would say this even if he were completely healthy.

    The defense is where most of the snaps have been lost through personnel departures. All of those must be replaced. Of the nine picks, no less than six need to address that side of the ball. If they don't find value at 1(9), then they should trade back.

27. If the Chiefs take Tyson they’re not as smart as many say they (Veach) are.

28. What was previously told was his mother put out on Facebook her brother was getting better from surgery during Simmons’ absence. Neither of his parents were ill. Fans got upset because no one misses four games for an uncle’s surgery no matter how close a family you are. Especially when you have the means to fly back every week. And you conveniently come back to camp the Monday of your bye week. I don’t believe he has the motivation to be a professional football player. This upcoming season will tell.

34. if it comes down to No 9 being Caleb Downs or Delane. Id rather see Downs be the pick there he is such a dominant player for the back end and could be for a long time. Either player is solid though

35. Brett Veach has done a genuinely terrible job building the team. He's great with contracts and drafting olinemen, dbs, and linebackers, but the team is always in desperate need of some position and the front office clearly hopes mahomes will make up for it. I think veach ought to stay as gm but we definitely need new scouts and some new help thats better at finding receiver and dline tallent

36. How stupid to draft a wr with a history of injuries over a guy with short arms makes no sense.bains rape doesn't lie he's a game wrecker period and if they don't draft him because they're worried about his arms 😏

37. I don't think we have a bad roster. Obviously we have Mahomes, the O line is quite solid, Butker had some misses but is still one of the better kickers, Our WR core isn't the best, but it's at least average, we have a quality RB now, with Jones and Tonga our interior D line has been improved, and we still have some pretty good defensive backs. Yeah, there are still holes at EDGE and CB, but I think people who say that the chiefs have a terrible roster are comparing each position with the best in the league. It's hard to have a team with the Texans' Defense, the Eagles' O-line, the Bengals' receivers, the Bills' running back, and the best QB in the league.

    All teams can excel somewhere, but in other places they need to just be good enough. While some of our blue chip players are starting to get old, we don't need a blue chip everywhere. We just need a few solid pillars to build the team around.

39. I'm terrified by the arm length. Rather have a body type that has a history of making the leap at the next level. Just facts.

40. Not in a rebuild, reloading. If we want to temper expectations due to unknowns with Mahomes recovery, fine. They helped with that by picking up Fields. You dont want fields the whole season but he can win games and I think the coaches can draw up some game plans using fields skills the first cpl of weeks if need be. They had a lot of player losses yes, but the biggest issue last season was the run game and decimated oline and underperforming WR room (can add sub par de play but they still had a top 10 defense all things considered). Mahomes tried to will the team to victories by doing too much which got him injured. This being the case, this year oline will be healthy, Wr healthy, rb room much improved. So really a piece or two in the offense (wr/te) and shore up defensive losses (definitely edge and secondary) they will be able to compete just as much as any other team in contention. The draft will be huge. Cant wait!!

Got a thought for you what if you take Jordan Tyson with your first pick hopefully but first you trade down maybe with bangals maybe pick up a 4th or 3rd or maybe even the cowboys but either way trading down to 12 Miami has a chance to take him so be cautious but trade a little down and pick up a extra pick then take corner and edge after that and you end up having 10 picks filling most holes in the roster
