The Cincinnati Bengals could have some major defensive talent fall to them in the 2026 NFL Draft, and two names stand out: Ohio State defenders Caleb Downs and Sonny Styles.
Andrew Fox Miller is joined by Mike Santagata to dive into the tape and analyze what each player brings to the table. From tackling technique to coverage ability and processing speed, let’s look at how these draft prospects project to the NFL and which one makes more sense for Cincinnati. 1 Week before the draft every Bengals fan should give up on the Dream getting Caleb Downs with the 10th Pick. He will likley be gone by then and the Bengals are probably going to end up with McCoy 😔
I think both will be gone by 10. Best bets will be Delane or Mccoy
styles is probably my least favourite pick right now LB has a high bust rate, isn’t super valuable on a rookie contract, and we could get a good one in r2-3
my dream is if all the top D guys are gone they trade back and grab Mcdonald and an extra 2nd rd pick. But I know it wont happen and they are going to take a CB at 10 when they can easily get a starting CB at #41 with a guy like Ponds Terrell or Johnson
Wishful thinking, Styles, Hopeful Downs, Solid Delane. 10th pick for Crosby would be awesome.
They should trade up to get Sonny styles are Downs bains are Bailey
My dream picks for the first two rounds are Caleb Downs and Jacob Rodriguez. Both are unlikely but if we get either of them I will be ecstatic
Caleb Downs missed 11% of ilhos tackles in 2025 & 11.4% in 2024. He was, IIRC, the 2nd WORST tackler in all of college football. This dude hyping up Downs' tackling is wild stuff.
Honestly, it's insane.
