Can the Timberwolves UPSET the Nuggets?

The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves are facing off against each other for the third time this decade in the NBA Playoffs. Every time they play it results in some amazing basketball and it feels like this series could be the same. Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Anthony Edwards are three of the best offensive players in basketball with elite defenders like Rudy Gobert, Aaron Gordon, and Jaden McDaniels present too. It’s gonna be incredible.

  1. when you talk about the nuggets youre meat riding them like theyre the best team ever but then when you talk about the timberwolves, you seem like it hurts you to say something remotely good about them😭 also mentioned about a total of 6 players on the wolves but talk about like 11 or so players on the nuggets. im not even a wolves fan but i can definitely see the wolves winning in 5 or 6 games. either ur a nuggets fan or just dont have a feel for any other team's capabilities

  7. Unfortunately for the Timberwolves. This is the worst matchup for them. They already know they cant stop Jokic. But its Murray thats going to destroy them this time. They embarrassed him in 2024 in most of the series and he hasnt forgotten. This is him at his peak this season and i think he is going to absolutely torch them averaging 30 this series. That will be too much for Minnesota to overcome. This should be a 5 game series at worst.

  12. Short answer NO!!!!! NOT this time two totally different rosters denver is SUPER deep and getting healthy 12 new rotation platers who most !! Will in fact het minutes in the playoffs as coach made clear hes csn go 12 deep total if needed!! And who will make huge differences Denver in 5 " 6 at most

  18. Would it be an upset? I don't consider a lot of match-ups having underdogs in this years playoffs, probably the best parity we've seen in a while.

  19. Only people not talking about Spurs already are the Nuggets. They know the Wolves are tough. They’re not going to overlook the team that knocked them out last year.

  21. When the wolves play their best basketball they are easily a top 3 team in the NBA. They are a weird team at times but they’ve shown in the playoffs that they can consistently make a deep run even if they fall short of the finals .

  28. Aaron Gordon ain't all that healthy, he was clutching that troublesome hammy a lot during that game against the Spurs where Wemby and Jokic had their duel. The amount they'll need to push him, just like that game, for the Nuggets defense to hold up, I think he's gonna get hurt. I really hope not, but I think he'll go down, and it'll lead to the Nuggets getting eliminated from there. Whether that's a loss to Wolves, or in a round further ahead, I'm not sure, but it's very likely.

  29. As a nuggets fan i wiuld rather play okc or the spurs. This is a nightmare matchup and the wolves have been a roadblock to easy finals appearances year after year. They are legit and their gm (who they stole from us) literally said they built the team to beat us

  33. I don't care much about OKC anymore if Seattle SuperSonic will actually return in 2028. Hope they have a good organization like OKC and fans to support them. So I go with Nuggets now. Noone talks about the Pistons for the champions and I think they have a good shot at it too.

  34. Im glad ant got better this year. Hopefully his knee will hold up and he can play to his highest potential. Playoffs are about to be great this year.

  38. I legit think this is the worse wolves team in the last couple years and vice versa for the nuggets with all the players coming into their own I wouldn’t be suprised of a sweep
