  1. If we land on 5… roughly 50 percent we do…I want Acuff in the worst way. His leadership, court vision, scoring ability, incredible handle,(barely turned the ball over,) and is just an absolute dog. Yeah his defense is…blah…but guys with Acuff’s all around skill set only come along once every few drafts.

  2. Appreciate the dedication to the plan. Building infrastructure, clearing out bad contracts, creating cap space, getting young talent and improving player development, valuing 2nd round picks. "Renting" vets to help young players worked as well. Poole, Kris, CJ, Bagley, Kuz, (even Smart), all of them helped. Now it's time to pivot to being competitive every night. Bring back Keefe and see what he can do when he's rolling out Wiz's best five instead of strange combos.

  3. I like him, and I see why the rebuild has gone the way it has, but still the Wiz need
    1) a top 3 pick
    2) a new coach
Check these two and you'll have one interesting team. But either pick 5th or keep Keefe, and the team is gonna struggle more than expected

  4. Better on-ball defense by the young players is critical to next season. Can't put it all on Sarr and Davis. Making the right read, taking the right angle (knowing opponents better), understanding the scheme, communicating, quicker rotations are all gonna be needed to improve the defense.

  5. Not counting any draft-night trades, next year's roster will likely include Sarr, Davis, Whitmore, George, Riley, Champagnie, Coulibaly, Johnson, Hardy, Young, Carrington, 1st round draft pick — that's 12. The final 3 spots (not counting 2way slots) are going to be hyper-competitive. Fight could include Reese, Vukcevic, Watkins, Cooper, Gill, another pick, adding free agents, players cut from other teams. an improvement on defense will require some internal improvement
