Mets are playing some of the worst baseball in the entire league, nobody is hitting, Francisco Lindor is sleeping and Carlos Mendoza is surely on the hot seat. Next up the Chicago Cubs

  1. No pitchers. No hitters. What you guys expect? A new manager will not fix this. They need a new team. Lindor needs to go. He was a fraud to begin with.

  2. The way I've watched Mets baseball since August of 2025
Question: Is McLean, Holmes, Peralta starting?
if yes: Turn game on in the third, jump to the first and watch the really good pitcher work while not watching a single Mets at bat.
if no: Do literally anything else and catch the 15min highlight reel MLB posts later.

I also agree that Lindor does not seem even remotely interested in playing baseball. The little bit of fire he showed after that homer I thought would have been the spark, where he'd be 2024 Lindor again but nah he's back to sleep walking.

  3. Something recently pointed out that I can’t unsee: this team has no signature celebration! Dudes get a hit and just pump their fist or nod toward the dugout. It’s so uninspired

They look robotic out there, like they’re just clocking in and cashing a paycheck. This team has 0 chemistry rn

  4. No identity. Half the team is out of position. No ace. Bad body language. 0 leadership. & way too much focus on analytics.

The number nerds overanalyzed the roster from the last few years. Alonso, Nimmo, & McNeil were the fabric of this lineup. Love them or hate them, they were Mets through and through.. Lindor is a self proclaimed leader, not one in practice. Stearns neutered the core due to long term fear.. I.e "what will Alonso/Nimmo be like in 6 years?" Awful way to run a business, let alone a sports team. And not to mention the fans have very little to root for.. nobody to identify with… and nothing to feel excited about. Most of the signings and trades made this offseason were all short term, upside moves with guys who likely won't be here next year. The stadium and atmosphere feels dead. It's not an exaggeration to say it feels like a bad dream when you think of how this team looked 2 years ago.

Maybe & just maybe.. Soto provides a spark and guys can buy in. But the more likely scenario is Mendoza gets canned by MDW – and this is another lost year for the Mets with a roster covered in self created holes.. all thanks to David Stearns.

  5. The Mets didn't even really beat up Paul Skenes. That inning was the result of an O'Neil Cruz disaster class. That is the highlight of the Mets season and it is just Cruz making multiple blunders to even make that inning possible

  6. Season over isn’t true? The math right now to get to 88 wins is 81 and 60 the rest of the season. Do you reall,y think this team can go 21 over the rest of the way for the last 140 games? SERIOUSLY? Mid April and it’s over bros

  7. You guys are wayyyyy off with those concussion comments. Even the experts admit brain injuries are tricky. Rizzo just had a similar thing recently with the Yanks that concussion went undiagnosed for like a half season.

  8. you idiots quit putting it all on manager . You have NO clubhouse leadership. They're all about themselves over the team u guys are just blind to it. Dodgers have multiple leaders who know how to win. Don't b mad your owners spends his $ on the wrong guys lol its that simple.

  9. Are you guys serious saying the Braves are bad? As of yesterday they lead the league in runs, 2nd in runs allowed and have a +44 run differential despite missing their 2 best pitchers.

  10. who is the manager if the fire Mendoza? I haven't heard anyone speculate on that. Beltran? Doesn't feel like they can just promote the bench bench like what usually happens

  11. I remember late in the offseason after Alonso had left, diaz had left, and the mets signed Bichette Jolly Olive saying that he was confident that the Mets would win the division. I was like huhhh?? They got worse offensively and their bullpen is worse. Why would that result in a better team? I know they had a bad taste in their mouth after the Alonso negotiation but people are shrooming if they think Bo Bichette is going to replace Alonso’s production. They aren’t a better team on paper then last year and they are dog** on the field.
