Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion with a message to NFL teams

I like the kid, a lot. We don’t need another Z receiver.
Rooting for him!
He ain’t falling to us
We probably don’t need him with the pick we’d have to use to get him
But I like this from the guy. Hope he backs this up.
I want a WR, but not him. Everyone has said his blocking is crap.
I like him. Fast and super shifty. A lot of personal toughness. Worry about the drops but feel like if we went with him he’s a mismatch creator.
Am I the only one that sees this message as a bit of a red flag? Maybe not a giant, deal breaking red flag. But in a diva, you’ll-likely-regret-this-pick-later-on, kinda way?
Great way to announce to the world that you have an ego problem and will be a total diva.
It’s one thing to have confidence, but it’s a thin line between confidence and arrogance.
Drop issues are too much of a risk for a first round pick.
Sounds like a Diva receiver. No thanks. Not worth it.
Pass
Am i the only one who thinks this kid is trouble long term?
All that and modest too.
I admire the confidence but this note reeks of ‘full of himself’ and will be a future holdout. SF doesn’t need another one.
No draft prospect ever says or thinks that!
I think this guy could be electric in Shanny’s system. I think Lemon is number one, but I think it’s KC and Tyson at 2.
Epic. Love this kids heart. However, I don’t want us to pick him.
Yes actually you did stutter
All the weirdos in this thread outing themselves on their zero ball knowledge. Kid with a stutter comes out and says he is the best at his position and makes a tongue in cheek joke about his severe stutter. “Diva diva diva diva” hurrr durr
Sorry but I say we pass and draft Kaden Wetjen in the 5th
Anyone else tired of the diva egotist WRs yet? I am
How many of the guys that say stuff like this actually pan out? I’m genuinely curious.
I don’t like using first round picks on receivers with drop issues… good dude, would be interested at the end of round 2, but pass at 27
Had me until “did I stutter”
I think because of his stutter he feels like he does not come across well in person, so he sent the letter to cover his bases.
He’s a good player. More of 2nd rounder (I think most of the top WRs are borderline 1st rounders).
But I don’t think he fits, especially as a first rounder. The hands, the lack of blocking are concerns.
But the biggest thing to me is that if you look at the current WR room, you have speed and size and route running, but you are missing the tough YAC type player. So I just feel like there are other players out there who would have a bigger impact on the offense, especially this year.
Stuttering in the form of a letter would be really bad.
… And for these reasons, I’m out.
I didn’t know much about KC and what he did on the field so I watched the highlight of Texas AM vs LSU to see how he did going up against that LSU corner (#1 CB on draft boards). Even tho he only caught 3 passes 45 and 1 TD, the guy was electric with the ball and showed good hands. Dude shredded LSU on returns too.
I’m sold on him
His name screams bust, I’m not sold
To be fair I hear he’s all business in the kitchen too. Need guys like that around. Better parties!
How do you stutter when you’re typing
Dude can’t catch…. No thanks
Cringy
This is so embarrassing
I like concepcion and i think people are misreading this as being attitude but Concepción isn’t like that. He’s a good kid from what i can tell.
Let’s do it coach!
Spoken like a true WR4
Bookmarking this post because I’m genuinely curious how he will pan out in the NFL… the irony if we do pass (pending opportunity to draft him) and he ends up with a JSN type impact
