  1. Positives from today’s Cleveland baseball:

José tracker- 289 HRs, 295 SBs

Heartbreaking. So incredibly heartbreaking. What a day, Parker Messick🍓. Your time will come. 8+IP, 1H, 2R(fuck you Cade), 2BB, and 9K on 112(78) pitches, a career high.

SWING José José José SWING! The bats get 4 runs off of *insert bat blurb here* yeah whatever.

Bullpen arms out the break! Fuck you past me. Fuck you.

One extensive rain delay later, Akron won a 7 inning game 3-0 on the back of Khal Stephan’s🐎 5 no hitter innings, where he allowed 5 walks and got 6 strikeouts. Meanwhile at AAA, the homers were flying, with Fairchild🎟️ and Watson🌩️ each hitting one, and Tolentino🇮🇹 hammering two. Watson and Fairchild each also added a double, while Bazzana🍌 went 2/4 with a double and a walk.

  2. Well that was too close, but… Parker Messick is an absolute stud. The high socks, constant fidgeting, and animated delivery is such a vibe. Can’t wait to watch this dude wheeling and dealing all year.

  3. Well thank god we didn’t blow that game. Would’ve been one of the most painful losses in awhile

  4. I’d like to take a moment to give a big fuck you to Emmanuel Clase. 🖕🏾😠🖕🏾

  5. That was the best first 8 innings of ball you could ever ask for. But HOLY SHIT the 9th gave me a stroke.

  6. Do you think if we made Clase wears goggles and cute his dreads that he could sneak back into the league?

  7. Messick getting tagged with two earned runs feels really unfair after that performance. but still gotta apperciate what a performance that was. I know his stuff is not that great but I after all hes showed you gotta believe this guy is legit.

  8. What a fucking game! But that 9th inning was too much for my heart!

Back in the W column! I’ll take it!

    Ace Messick looking like Kluber!

  9. I can’t handle how bad Brito is defensively. Every ball towards him is scary. You guys took Arias for granted.

  10. Cade is like Andrew Miller, he is not like Clase. Some guys just aren’t closers, it doesn’t mean he’s not clutch or good in high leverage situations. Hes a fireman

  11. I’m glad we didn’t lose, otherwise the mods would’ve had to pick a random redditor to serve as the whipping boy for Cade and banned the FUCK out of them

  12. If “closer mentality” and all that shit is real and Cade really isn’t a closer, I have confidence in Walters and Aleman coming up, and maybe even Espino, and maybe Gaddis if need be. Thinking Cade is trash is just dumb.

Messick has been a stud every step of the way, even aside from today. Great outing.

  13. Sucks about Parker’s ERA!!! But Jose Soriano has been lights out for the Angels, it’s a hard hill to climb to top him so far

  14. Vogt needs to be questioned more about his decisions after the disaster class that lost us the cardinals game and today. Why is Brito playing defense in the 9th again (yes the last play was good but the overall point still stands)? Why was no one warm behind Messick?

  15. Why didn’t Vogt put in the best defensive team for the 9th?  Manzardo and Brito are not it.

It probably wouldn’t have mattered to the outcome, but it just seems obvious.

  16. Yea so like Cade ain’t a closer and that is a fucking glaring ass hole with this questionable BP as is…

  17. I didnt have a plan for what I was going to do if we blew that game at the end, all I can say is my local community can sleep with both eyes closed tonight

  18. Cade wanted to blow that game so badly. Even the fly ball hit from Cowser was over 100mph.

  19. All glory to the lord! I know that’s right messick. He was my fav pitcher on the team before this because he just goes right at guys but this performance just cements it.

I was really hoping he’d be the one to have the first guards/indians no hitter in my life, maybe Gavin will get a no hitter this year?

  20. Chat is moving too fast for anyone notice me saying I’d leave my wife for Parker Messick.

  21. It’s never gonna happen and I just have to accept that. Also Cade pls get it together 🙁

  22. The Cleveland Guardians are now 7-0 when World Series winner Austin Hedges starts behind the plate
