It’s over, has been over and keeping most of these guys is a huge no no. Move on finally, guy just ain’t it for Toronto, they’re not just bad they’ve become a joke across the league to every other team. Done nothing but get worse. Blow it up or as Jon Taffer would say it” shut it down NOW!” enough is enough, Toronto fans need to get angry because with a franchise like this and they can’t even buy a cup here and there I mean cmon. I understand the whole “as long as the building is full and people are buying merch why change that” mindset however even with that mentality the smart thing to do is buy a cup once in a while but this is just insulting and disgusting to witness. So many die hard fans old to young but particularly old do not deserve this at all, men who just want to see a cup in Toronto before they die shouldn’t have to go 60 plus years to not even get a sniff at one like this. It’s a disgrace to sports and to this particular organization and fan base. Again, insulting and disgusting but how are they not seeing this? Nothing personal again Austin but he ain’t the guy bringing it to Toronto in his career, won’t happen and then the nylanders and reillys of the team are just brutal to be watching year after year. 3. Window is closed and cupboards are bare for atleast 5 years. Hopefully the 'new' suits can get creative in an incredibly tough market and put a competitive product on the I ce in the next 3 seasons. Trading away the future has historically been a problem for the Leafs. It needs to stop.

5. Injuries and not replacing Marner did the Leafs in this year. Losing Marner and replacing him with Domi was a slap in the face to Mathews.He is your captain and it was a disgrace what Treliving did. Domi is a 3rd line player at best.

7. Hmmm the reason for not playing well all year was consistency? I don't think so. They were consistently not good enough, getting outplayed almost every night. No one can win if that happens period.

Give up a top 10 protected 2027 1st for Laughton and trade him for the 60th overall this year, trade Minten and a top 5 protected first and get Carlo – please trade him. Trade McMann for a 2nd and 4th. Sign Maccelli – please don't resign him. Trade a 4th for Joshua – 2 more years @3.25M – please trade or waive him. Sign Stolarz to 4 years @ 3.75M please trade him. Sign Nylander 8 years @ 11.5M please trade him. Sign Max Domi 4 years @ 3.75M – please trade or waive him. Sign Tavares @ 4.38M x 4 years – great deal for a solid 3C. Sign Knies @ 7.75M x 6 – solid player, I think a little overpaid. Sign Tanev @ 4.5 x 6 years – great deal if it was 2016. Treliving had an overall horrible run as Toronto GM. He made the team old and slow and set them back quite a ways. If they think they can compete with this roster next year, they are delusional. Hopefully they can kickstart the rebuild with a top pick this year, but either way this team needs to be torn down to the studs. Can't let Auston walk away for nothing. Tell him and Willy that we are doing a full rebuild and will not be competitive for at least 5 years and ask for 5 teams that they would waive for. Otherwise take them off the top PP and play them 3rd line defensive minutes exclusively. This team needs a GM who isn't afraid to clean up this mess. I hope Pronger gets a good look.
