I just watched ESPN put the penguins as number 4 in the power rankings. In front of us, the Canadians, buffalo… Wtf.
I can’t argue much with any of those picks, but I’m thinking that’s a tough road to the Cup with the Sens who have been playing pretty well lately, the Flyers who have been hot (and all four games against them this year went to OT), the Habs (who swept the season series) and the Avs (only team with a better record meaning no home ice advantage in that series against a really good team). The netminder (whichever guy it is) will need to be on top of his game and the rest of the team will have to consistently score a few goals a game to get through that.
I couldn’t have picked it better myself. I think you are spot on. Wow that western lower bracket is pure ass.
Habs over Tampa and Buffalo seems crazy
Pretty close to how my bracket looks, but I have Pens>Flyers, Oilers>Avs and the repeat of 06.
West is such a hate watch except for the Avs I don’t even fuckin care
In this scenario, either the Canes win the cup or Burns and Necas win the cup. The two best possibilities imo
I’ll allow it.
no notes perfect prediction
As an NC native who has lived in Colorado the last 5 years this would be very desirable. Much easier to drive down the road to attend in person than have to get on a plane. (I’m kidding myself that I could afford any of this)
Hell yeah, LFG!
Mines similar except I have oil instead of avs
I do not see Wild winning over Dallas, and I have a weird feeling about the Ducks for some reason, but the rest seems good. I’d love to see Avs vs Canes finals.
Guess I’m a unicorn as an Avs hater 🤣
Personally I’d swap pens and flyers and I don’t know if we could get past the habs but I mostly agree with this
I think the Avs could very well lose early, likely to the Wild or Stars because they are the current soon-to-be victims of the President’s Trophy Curse, unless they pull a 2022-23 Bruins and lose to a WC team in the first round.
Because I’m too lazy to math it myself…what’s the statistical likelihood of regular season conference champions meeting in the Stanley cup final?
Theres no way fliers are beating the penguins lol.
I wouldn’t mind embarrassing Edmonton again. They don’t deserve shit
