The 2026 NHL Playoffs begin Saturday. With the Panthers not qualifying, who do you most want to see win the Stanley Cup? The least?

  4. Is this bracket from the official NHL site? Because it has a mistake. It shows Montreal as A2 and Tampa as A3, but in fact Tampa is A2 and Montreal is A3.

  5. I’ll root for Sabres, Habs, Stars, and Avs.

    If Pens make the Final and none of those teams do, then I’ll go for them.

    I refuse to root for Canes or Sens

    I will watch Oilers, and Knights, and Bruins and cheer when they lose.

    For the rest of them, I don’t really care enough about who wins, but I’ll still watch as many games as I can.

  6. Simple in my eyes. Anyone but Edmonton. Have always been a Panthers fan so the Oilers rub me the wrong way lately. Plus, my wife despises them more than she loves her favourite team. Simple to cheer against them

    Realistically? I think it’s coming from the Atlantic and my rankings would be TB, Habs, Buf…

    Fuck the Oilers and Tampa, hope they both get swept in round 1

    Want: Utah, Ottawa

    The rest I am indifferent towards.

  18. Most – Dallas or Buffalo.  Probably the only series I’d actually tune in for

    Least – Tampa or Edmonton.  I used to appreciate Oil for the Age of the Great One but the last two years have really made me hate them

    Honorable Mention – Boston.  Normally I hate all New England anything because of the Wrath of Darth Hoodie in Football, but debts must be paid and we owe them one for Rat King.  I would not totally hate a Boston cup.  For once.  Limited time offer after this year fuck them as is tradition.

  19. I’d like to see the stars do well, feel like they have had a couple really strong years recently. However I’m always rooting for the underdogs so the Sabres have my support,

  20. Buffalo, because they deserve a win (plus my parents are originally from that area).

    I’d be happy with a Dallas win out of the west.

    and if Tampa wins I would only be happy because it would piss off the other 30 fanbases with another sunny warm weather team winning + keeping the cup in Florida lol

    My approach though is going to take it one round at a time and pick 1 team from each match up and see how it goes. The last 3 seasons have done a number on my nerves and I don’t want to be too invested in anything. Just like our Cats deserve a rest, so do we lol

  21. Most: Penguins, so those old men can have one last cup and Stuart Skinner can dunk on the Oilers.

    Least: The Oilers and Tampa.

  30. I wanna see Dallas get it for Benn. I’d also be cool with Utah, Minnesota, Buffalo. I would also accept Ottawa because of Brady.

    Definitely don’t wanna see Edmonton, Philly, Anaheim, Vegas, Carolina, Montreal.
