you just know Brick and all his mouth breathing hanger ons are going heavy on one of these
The Badlands/Reese fans argument that the Bailey push was all a concerted effort to entice a team to trade up to #2 does make a ton of sense. But I’m also one who kind of just believes the reports that get coped as smokescreens a) at the top of the draft, and b) in that fina stretch when the word starts leaking out from all different directions more.
One thing I will say for pretty much certain. If the Jets do want Bailey, I don’t think they’d be sitting on their hands letting reporters send out to the public the idea that they like Bailey because he’s safer and could thus more likely ‘save’ Aaron Glenn. That’s *atrocious* messaging. I’d expect that they’d be using the propagandists to carry the flag that Bailey is the best edge in the class, he’s an absolute monster, he’s the next Will Anderson, etc etc etc.
