Despite lower minutes for the sake of the tank, an injury that kept him from playing for almost an entire year, lingering pain during the season, and the general craziness of the team—Cedric Coward still made it onto this list.

I can’t wait to see what a proper off-season can do for this kid who’s got so much potential!

  1. These numbers are so skewed by the tank. I wouldn’t take them seriously. 🚮

  2. Ced had a sneaky good rookie season that gets overlooked by games missed due to injury and games limited in minutes played. His shot felt a little off for stretches, but the mechanics always looked clean. Even when he wasn’t scoring much, he was a decent playmaker and great rebounder, and was a solid (but prone to blow-bys) defender.

I expect him to have a great summer and really take a leap next season. He’s smart and humble with great work ethic, and has a real understanding of the game. All-Star by year 3 goddamnit.
