  1. I’m on the west coast and there is NO WAY I’m staying up til 10… See ya tonight

  2. It’s still early enough to where this can be fixed. But they need to get things back on track soon. Before you know it, you’re a quarter or a third into the season.

  3. 9:40 is brutal, but luckily i get off work at 9:00 so i can actually watch a game

  4. I am going to say this for the one millionth time, can the bat’s wake up and support our pitchers.

  5. Man I wish I could keep saying “it’s a new series let’s get after it”, but man…I’m not feeling all that hopeful rn 😭

  6. I will of course be hoping for a blue jays win but also low key support Soroka as well who is from Calgary and pitched for team Canada!

  7. approximately 5am where I live

hmm, should I wake up early to watch some baseball, or live like a normal human being?? 🤔

  8. I’m almost tempted to find AZ’s broadcast because last year’s was a hilariously maddening fustercluck. Alas, we no longer have Chris Barret or Alan Rond, Addison Badger is out, there are no dudes from Mrs. Agua, and there’s no lurking CN Tower for them to marvel at between every single inning.

Then again, there’s still so much baseball to be learned. Where would I be without their gems of insight such as

    >Just because the count is 0-2 doesn’t mean you should try to strike him out.

    > You don’t want to get caught stealing on a checked swing

    > Vladdy is a bad pitch hitter so you don’t want to throw him bad pitches

    > You don’t pronounce the second T in ToronTo. It’s “ToronTo”

  9. We’ll see how deep Eric Lauer can go today. He needs to lower that 7.82 ERA but it will not matter at all if the bats do not come out of hibernation. Somethings gotta give here.

  10. Late as fuck, but given how this team has been playing, it may be a blessing in disguise.

  11. Might be a good thing the game is late, means I can go to bed and avoid being disappointed again.

  12. I’m reminded of a quote by, coincidentally, another beast named John.

    – How will you live, John?
    – Day by day…

  13. It’s Friday and that’s my day where I force myself to stay awake a little later as revenge for the week of early sleep. Maybe I’ll catch six innings.

  14. The bats need to hit for more power as we can’t string 3 hits to get 1 run. We aren’t even aggressive enough to score from second like yesterday’s game. Everyone else scores from
    Second we are sleeping!

  15. Hi Jays players, if you read this, loosen up and have fun. The hits will come, the runs will come, just have fun.

  16. Will be going to the game today, just so happen to be in Phoenix. Was at the game where Vladdy hit his only home run of the year. Here’s to hoping he hits number 2 for us.

  17. can this team go on a 4 game win streak?

    Obviously

    Will it start tonight

    I couldn’t tell ya

  18. Hell yeah, a game that actually starts at a normal evening time for me instead of 5:05pm. This is going to be a better series, we’re in a warm place, balls will carry more, and the roof won’t be leaking!

  19. There aren’t many worse feelings as a fan than staying up late to watch your team and they end up losing.

You go to bed grumpy and you’re tired the next morning and still grumpy.

The worst example was Game 3 of the World Series.

I’m hoping the Jays start the weekend right for us masochistic late night fans…

  20. A late game… gives me time to study and not get distracted.

Let’s hope today is the turn around point!
