  1. Yeah, you do want the team to be better though. A lot does depend if they know they are getting Brown and what pick may have been discussed in a trade. We won’t know until the draft but if a guy like D Boston falls you need to get best player, AJ is 28 so not as old as Diggs but has chronic known knee issues. He will also have a big salary as you’re getting ready to pay Maye and Gonzalez which needs to happen, but you have to hit on other key positions. If Brown was 25 and didn’t have a knee complication, it would be different. And what happens if that crops up at training camp and he doesn’t play most of the year. My point is that teams who have good players in key team positions where they aren’t paying 30mil/year can spend more of that cap $ on other players and backups to make a team better. Look at KC and Philly. They had Mahomes and Hurts on rookie contracts so they could spend on other players…this is all about your drafts and scouting. Over the past 10 years (although we did great last year) the Seahawks and the Eagles end up having over half of each draft class starting or playing a large amount of snaps. Getting good rookie guys out of the gate they can rely on. No specialists or fitting into schemes but hard hitting, talented football players who have great instincts. Character, prior injuries and time on the field also matter but if you’re missing on 8-9 out of a dozen guys you’re drafting every year, you aren’t doing something right…

  2. They can wait for a running back until late picks or maybe next year , right now mow we need. O-Line ,Edge and a TE !!!!!!! Specially a TE that can grow with Drake and become the new TB12/Gronk or Mahomes/Kelce 🙌🏽
