1. The Brewers' closer (Megill) has already been demoted and replaced by Uribe and Zerpa. We should have the guts to make the same decision with Hoffman.

11. how do you get 164 plate appearances in 18 games? let's assume an extreme average of 5 plate appearances per game. even at that, 5×18= what? so you are suggesting he made 9 plate appearances per game? and how did heineman get 160 appearances when he sat 5 games??

12. The only two guys on the 40 who aren't on the major league roster are Clase and Fitzgerald. There is nothing in Buffalo worth making a 40 man roster change. McAdoo and Pinango have been decent, but not worth jettisoning anyone from the 40.

    Lukes will be sent down when Barger or Springer return. Then when the other returns Eloy will be punted, unless their is another injury.

20. Something I've noticed from watching the games, is that Jays hitters are taking very off balance swings, almost like their not set very well.
    Maybe it's just me but it could be the cause of the lack of power sometimes
    Edit: i say this because of the clips of Trout and Judge mashing HRs this week and they both looked stable everytime

23. The homerun Rojas had in Game 7 of the WS was a result of poor pitch selection rather than solely on Jeff Hoffman's pitching. That was on Kirk who was exhausted and injured on both wrists after being hit by pitch by the Dodgers' do anything to win pitchers. Rojas was having trouble hitting fastballs according to the baseball commentators and that is what they should have pitched to him.
