[JFresh] A masterclass season by Seider. The Red Wings were superb in his minutes and a disaster as soon as he stepped off the ice. Deserves serious Norris consideration alongside the flashier offensive players

  4. He follows a long line Lidstrom, Kronwall, Coffey, Chelios etc. A premium D man is gold in the NHL.

  5. He is such a treat to watch. During some of the truly shitful games, I would stop watching the general action and just start following him. He would make my jaw drop multiple times per period by anticipating plays, out muscling or out positioning elite players, or making a great set up play.

    *We have to improve the team around him, because wasting Seider’s peak years is a crime against hockey.*

  8. Elite player. Can we build around this guy will be the question. We need to look at those old Bruins teams with Chara. Thats how we need to build.

  17. He’s a joy to watch, even when he’s not on my team. One of my favourite players not playing on Ottawa. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

  23. Seider is a star, and our best player by a mile

    If he can play 28 minutes a game, you are winning those 28 minutes most nights.

    IMO what’s best for the wings would be if Ed could take a leap. I love playing them together, but if you split up Ed and Seider and Ed can win his 24 minutes a game, you are at what 52 minutes a night where your D is winning, you can figure out the rest back there
