3. KG has always been really supportive of Scottie. Think he sees a lot of himself in him.

4. I don’t know, this year he’s been an all star. Likely will get all defensive and potential all NBA. Been in a bunch of highlights throughout the year.

   I don’t know, he’s gotten a lot of well deserved praise. It’s the playoffs now. Show where it matters the most. Let’s go!

15. I really wanna see Scottie “take over” against actually good teams on a consistent basis. Like this man has KG praising him about that yet he plays like a passive point guard on offense half the time.

    I’m not even trying to downplay here, I just really wish the version of Scottie Barnes KG is seeing was something *everyone* got to see more often. He’s completely capable of it and we’ve seen it before. It’s the inconsistency that gets me down.

21. He’s the kind of player I knew KG would like. You don’t play defense like that and not get the respect of his like KG.

22. Love the clip. The Joker comparison is a bit thin though—I take it KG just means Scottie will lead us in every category, or could, but Scottie does not have even half the touch of Jokic, and offensively is way worse. (Defensively, way better.) Something to aspire to, though!
