Today was a sad day for me, my country and the basketball world as a whole. Can't put into words the impactful Oscar presence to forment basketball in Brazil.

Him almost playing for the Nets, and having his jersey retired by the teams was one of the reasons for me to become the Nets fan that im today. He unfortunally never played for us in the NBA, due a rule that prevented him and others international players at the time of playing for their national teams if he signed a contract. But a thing i know for sure, the Nets are priviledged to make part of the history of this Basketball legend, as much as i'm priviledged to shared a time on this earth with him.
