  1. We were on a good heater and were due for a loss.

Remember every team loses 60. Pack up and move on from tonight. Win tomorrow.

  2. Not our finest showing at all. It was so bad that it makes me suspect some outlier issue going on. Excited to see our lefty specialist lineup will handle the next two days

  3. Please just tell me Andujar Laureano and Ty are in the lineup tomorrow.

Lefty on the mound, you have the chance to roll our best 9 out there to bounce back after a lifeless loss.

  4. That was not ideal but honestly didn’t expect much from matty knucks. All good though. Lets take the series:)

  5. Angels fan here, don’t worry too much about the L. Our bats have been hotter than a tick on the devils ball sack this past week. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Kikuchi should be easy picking for y’all tomorrow

  6. Bad game. Rotation sucks, but BP almost pitched a QS. Canning soon. No more Castellanos starts, thanks.

  7. I don’t know much about anything, but Castellanos at DH is most definitely NOT what we were hoping for. Big OOF

  8. Weird that there was no Padres game tonight. Oh well, on to start a strange two game series vs the Angels.

Woof, Angels are killing the ball right now. Little worried about Jake. Flush today and play better tomorrow.

  9. Yea didn’t really expect to get this one considering who was pitching for each side, can’t win em all.

  10. Game sucked but if the Padres had to have a night where their pitching imploded, better to do it when they are facing the guy off to the hottest start in baseball and they only got three hits anyway. It’s much easier to accept losing 8-0 than 8-7, or 1-0.

  11. Beating a dead horse: seventh start in the first 20 games that a SP did not pitch into the fifth. Even 5IP/3ER feels like a luxury at this point.

  12. I had to get eye surgery in the Marines. A Navy doctor scrubbed my eyeball raw with an electric toothbrush contraption whilst my eye was forced to stay open by a medieval torture device.

I’d rather do that to my eyes again than to see this game.
