* Montgomery hit an RBI double and an RBI single.
* Martin retired the first 10 batters before Acuña failed to track down a high fly ball, which bounced for a ground rule double.
* Martin allowed 3 hits and 1 run in 7.0 IP.
* Quero had 2 hits and an RBI groundout.
* Acuña and Benintendi hit back-to-back RBI doubles.
* Murakami hit 3-for-5 with a grand slam to deep CF.
* The Sox won convincingly!
I love Murakami!
Great wins like these are rare. Enjoy them! What a great hit by Mune
i just love good white sox baseball

That was some fun baseball
The bats definitely came out tonight, with 15 hits for the team. And of course, that Mune Grand Salami was wonderful to watch! I tip my cap to Davis Martin for the excellent pitching!
As the guy in last nights post game thread who said he might not watch again and was repulsed by Schiffren’s claim that the bats woke up I am sad (glad?) to report:
* I did indeed watch again
* The bats did indeed wake up
What happened to Late Night with Chuck and Ozzie?
Awesome win
What a welcome surprise. Usually our pitchers are throwing 60 pitches in 2 innings. 😊
Don’t look now, but Davis Martin has the 16th best ERA in the majors — even better than 2025 Cy Young winners Tarik Skubal AND Paul Skenes
That was fun to watch!!!
We gon win shampionship?

I will take a bullet for Davis Martin
Grateful to see this game live.
Do we lead the league in grand slams?
Good win by the Sox and fuck both Jerry Reinsdorf and John Fisher.
