8. Just get rid of the lottery and do the draft by record like the NFL. Not as many teams will tank without a lottery because they're not given the false hope of getting a top pick despite 5 other teams having worse records than them.

9. "At some point the math's got to math" – in other words he thinks the draft is rigged against small market teams. You can criticize the NFL's lack of a draft lottery but the NFL cannot rig who gets the number one pick. I'm sure they rig other stuff but if you finish in last place you get the number one pick and they can't do anything about it.

24. Make a lottery where every team starts with X amount of tickets maybe 10 in the pot. For every loss within X amount of points maybe 5ish give the losing team another 2-3 tickets. Winning teams can get 1 ticket if they win by X amount maybe 10 or more. Something to incentivize playing hard every game and keep it close. Then at the end of the year you pull randomly from the pile

25. Imma keep saying it we need a tournament for the lottery teams to decide draft order. That would be 2 playoffs plus there would be 0 reason to make a bad roster no reason at all and yes teams that would have the 13th or 14th pick would end up drafting higher but that would push teams on the verge of the playoffs into the playoffs the only down side is being the worst team and being stuck there but id rather have a team just be awful then 10 teams fighting to be the worst.

35. In nba 2k franchise off-season you have the option to have the non playoff teams have a tournament for their pick position.
    I think adding a tournament to earn your pick can deter teams from fully tanking.
    You could end the season with the worse record but get knocked out the tournament in 1st round and end up with a bad pick.
    Plus it adds more games to watch, more games to attend and earn more earnings. Plus gives players 1 last chance to demonstrate their abilities before becoming a free agent.

42. Adam Silver rigs the draft lottery. We don't see the picks. They come out with envelopes. I mean, c'mon, Dallas getting the 1st pick was obvious last year. And it's clear Adam Silver HATES Utah.
