Final (obvi) installment of this for the season from me. Hopefully folks have found these interesting over the course of the campaign.

No bones about it, it's been an impressive regular season from the Avs. At their worst, they were a team that would tread water without stacking many consecutive losses. At their best they were a jet-propelled wagon that tore through their competition.

As it's a record-setting season for the franchise, of course it compares favorably to every campaign under Bednar and against past Cup-winning seasons.

Looking at the availability chart, it seems like the biggest key is keeping Landeskog healthy — or at the very least not losing him with another key contributor like Toews or Lehky. The time without the captain is striking in how it corresponds with their most indifferent stretches of the season.

There are no guarantees that this will translate into another championship, but if nothing else, at least we've been able to enjoy one hell of a regular season. 82 games over seven months can be a slog, but it's made so much easier when you get to enjoy a team with this level of quality playing at such a consistent clip.
