The Warriors got eliminated last night and apparently Golden State is considering moving on from their dynasty guys (Steph, Draymond, Kerr)

Kerr: “I don’t know what’s going to happen. I still love coaching. But I get it. These jobs all have an expiration date. there’s a run that happens, and when the run ends, sometimes it’s time for new blood and new ideas and all that.”.

I know Dawkins said he anticipates Keefe back but if Kerr is out there available and willing, you gotta try to get him. If he comes on board with this group that changes EVERYTHING.

  1. If Kerr becomes available whatever our coaches name is should be fired IMMEDIATELY a MASSIVE bag thrown at Kerr, and I agree its a fucking gamechanger

  2. I see what type of time this sub is about to be on this offseason. Shit is about to be insufferable

  3. You all overvalue Steve Kerr quite a bit here. He is a mid tier coach, carried by the talent on his team. Like someone mentioned before, he didn’t develop a single player during his tenure. Luke Walton went damn near undefeated when he stepped in as HC for a few months while Kerr was recovering from injury/illness. He is not what a lot of you think he is.

  4. Wait wait wait, guys I’ve got an even better idea.

Scottie Brooks! He and KD are buds, so he would want to come here to play for Scottie! We could start some stupid hashtag campaign like “KD2DC” it’ll be great

  5. I think he is overrated but who am I ….. he took over team that was basically almost built by Mark Jackson .. really has not developed and younger players and had the luxury of having Draymond and Steph …. The young guys on our team probably would not progress as fast imo

  6. Has he shown he can develop talent? I mean not saying he isn’t a great coach but his track record for developing talent isn’t too great is it? Idk

  7. Pretty sure Budenholzer is still available, Frank Vogel also an assistant coach. Sam Cassell has no head coaching job.

All of these guys would be worthy pursuits.

I honestly think if Kerr is not coaching the warriors he is not coaching at all

  8. Kerr turned down the Knicks, partly because he preferred to stay out west.  Why wouldn’t he just wait for an LA, PHX or Vegas job?

  9. Kerr named Top 15 Coaches in NBA History for a reason. He’s winningest HC in GSW history and from same Popovich coaching tree as Sam Presti and the OKC guys that run our franchise.

    How’s Steve Kerr not perfect?

  10. kerr essentially said he’s coaching for the warriors next season or not coaching at all

he won’t leave to a different team

  11. In the words of the wise Dennis Rodman. Steve Kerr ain’t coaching shit
