  1. NO; Dont pay QJ!!! Just because screaming pay the man doesnt work. They are Not going to pick up his 5th year. As matter of fact, if they get chance they WILL Trade him (contrary what the GM says!!)

  2. This is an all or nothing season for QJ. If he can’t break out with McDaniel calling the plays, he will be sent packing. And just bcuz Hortiz hasn’t made any calls so far, doesn’t mean calls can’t be made in the future. The worst scenario is that QJ doesn’t break out and loses what little trade value he may currently have.

  3. According to the latest reports, it may be easier to trade up in the draft than to trade down. This may be the year to focus on quality of the picks rather than on quantity. Going all in on Iaone could be the one move the Chargers need and everything else is just icing on the cake. With the remaining cap space, they are still in great shape for early to mid season pick ups and trades.

  4. Love the take that McDaniel is an offensive genius and Justing Herbert is also operating on a genius level. It’s gonna be incredible watching these two analyze and dissect defenses this season.

  5. Joe Hortiz plays the long game. What happens if and when networks start paying less for NFL games ? It's unlikely always continue to increase. Cable streaming services keep giving us less, and bleeding us more. Sooner or later, viewership is bound to slide downward. How will teams at or over the Cap respond when that day comes ?

  6. "Pay the man" no. Absolutely not. QJ is not worth 18 million. Pay Derwin James and Tuli. If QJ has a breakout season, then you can talk about an extension. This is a big year overall for the Chargers
