  1. Idk how much of a difference 1 inch and 10lbs will make as far as “more size”.
    Ruke was 6’4 295
    Smith is 6’5 306.

Both are big, but I wouldn’t consider Smith a space eater.

  2. Oh lord please just stop it with the tua crap already .the 1st summer wind at training camp and tus's gone with a concussion smh .his accuracy is gone, his arm is shot …he's worse than Kirk .

  3. Trade just doesn’t make sense to me. We’re in a position where we need drafts picks. We only have five and we trade someone who was showing out last year to replace him with someone who’s
Not proven on the Atlanta Falcons field

  4. I just gotta say thank you Atl. Yall took a guy that didnt play for us and gave us someone far more productive! Much appreciated!

  5. I would be interested in what weight the Jags wanted Smith to show up at vs what weight the Falcons wanted him to show up at. If the Birds tell him it is ok to show up 20 lbs heavier we have a sense of why the deal happened.

  6. Maason smith was healthy scratched both seasons multiple game. Not a great motor, seemingly lazy at times and slow, needs to work on health as well. Hope him the best but his knocks coming out of college are still here in the NFL. Typical Baalke pick, all measurables

  7. Maason Smith does have the smallest hands of any human male his size. Hard to be a monster DT with tiny hands. 8.5 hands!! Kickers have bigger hands. Ruke was evolving as he didn't play much in college. This move will result in absolutely nothing. Pass on NT in the draft and you still won't stop the run. Maason Smith solves NOTHING.

  8. You guys are nuts!. They still need a starting DT. Why the fuck do Falcons fans assume players can come to Atlanta and all of a sudden play better than they played previously???

  9. I would go O-tackle with the first pick as long as there's one good enough to draft that high by then. This guy they signed is experienced but he is not good at all anymore. We can't have 2 lefty QBs and no right tackle to protect their blind side. We are going to be awful if we can't protect our QB's blind side. So I would try to hold off on drafting defense until at least the 3rd round. We also need a true #2 wide receiver. So hopefully we get an O-tackle, a WR and the other 3 picks are all defense. Losing Ellis and potentially Pearce as well as some other guys could be a big blow to our defense so I can see why most of our picks should be defense. We gotta protect the QB's blind side though. That's the most important thing in football. If you don't do that you're throwing the season away.
