  1. We respect the spurs ..but if you think you going to walk all over us .. U DEAD WRONG !!
We are going as a pack of lions for the first time this season healthy!
The Pressure is on you SPURS !!
The bigger they are ..the harder they fall.
    Blazers in 7

  2. Its a Play Off Game..No team will lie down and die..All players will give it their best..Its a Pride issue more than anything else..No foregone conclusions here..But with Wemby protecting the rim Avdija isnt going to walk into the bucket like he did against The Suns , he will be blocked..

  3. As a Spurs fan, totally agree that Portland is going to give us a tough series. I feel that my Spurs can beat them, but I hope we show up expecting a 48-minute battle each game. Portland reminds me a lot of the Detroit Pistons. We beat Detroit this season both times we faced them, but it was a battle the whole game each time as both games were very physical and had a playoff intensity to them. Like Detroit, Portland has a primary ball handler that creates most of their offense in Deni, a roster full of great perimeter defenders, a shot blocker in the middle, the ability to rebound really well, and they are relentless. We also have to take care of our home court because Portland's arena is always a hostile environment to play in during the playoffs since Portland has awesome fans that really support their team well during the playoffs.

  4. Spurs do not have problems with their offense. 4th in the nba in Offensive rating. That is for regular season. Spurs haven't been to the playoffs in 6-7 years. Blazers up a level of intensity vs the Suns. The Spurs are going to shoot those 3s. If those 3s are good, it is going to be hard for the opponents.

  5. You have this exactly backwards. On top of the obvious gap in overall talent and roster quality, this is a horrible matchup for Portland. Their offense relies on a lot of slashing to the rim and second-chance points, and that is the worst possible offensive calibration for any squad facing a Wemby-led team. (Ask Cade and Detroit how rim pressure offenses fare against Wemby's Spurs)

The toughest matchups for the Spurs are those specialize in bombing away from outside … or who have Nikola Jokic on their roster.

  6. They take 2 games. Spurs spacing will become an issue, scores in the 90s. Blazers have a great bench, sharpe and grant are 20 ppg guys, rob3 is an all defense talent

  7. Wemby as a "passenger" on offense is when the Spurs are most effective. There's a lot of truth to this in the sense that when the Spurs look utterly dominant when Fox and Castle are leading the charge and Wemby is like the 2nd scorer. It's not that Victor can't be that scorer, it's just that the Spurs perform much better when their guards are feasting. Some of these games down the stretch where they lost (albeit not much at all) were because it seems as if Wemby was trying to score more because the pundits who vote for MVP all said he wasn't scoring enough and he felt he needed to be more aggressive. Now that the silly MVP circus is over, I think Wemby can be more patient about allowing the flow of the game dictate his scoring vs. forcing it and hopefully, that will lead to meaningful, big time team wins. There's some stat out there where if Devin Vassell scores over 20, they're almost undefeated; Wemby needs to lean into that.

  8. No, you are not crazy. I have been breaking this down for a while. POR will take Game 1. SAS Game 2. POR Game 3. This is going 6-7 games. Yes, POR has been playing like the #1 defense for a while. And yes, This POR team has been healthy for just 1 GAME. And yes, the best SAS is 28-30 mins of Wemby with the others rolling. More mins then that, Wemby is going to get hurt. Game data shows that. Yes, more Wemby as a defender. But POR is going to take it to his sore ribs. Deni will drive. Cling will post and hit 3s. Little know secret, Cling is a better 3 point shooter then Wemby is.

  9. Spurs might lose this series in 5 or 6, blazers off their playstyle look like Dawgs, & tbh victor staying healthy in back2back2back2back games is gonna be tough

  10. Jaylen Brown BREAKDOWN you're next video Romp 2.0

  11. Fox, Castle, Harper, Bryant can stifle and be super aggressive because IF (and that's a very big IF) they happen to get passed our guards, well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but now they have to contend with Vic ๐Ÿ‘ฝ๐Ÿ… And let's not forget they haven't seen Vic at all this year as of yet so they don't know what they are in for. ๐Ÿซช๐Ÿ˜†

  12. Hoping for the upset… if blazers shoot well through the series there's a chance they can pull it off. With how physical they play, if the refs let em play tough watch out spur fans.
