1. Stop with the excuses!!!! Start holding this team accountable. Yeah we have injuries, every team has injuries. Jays couldnt hit when we had a full team at beginning of year . Atkins failed to address our biggest needs in summer. Failed to sign Bo and replace him, failed to get us a real closer , failed to get us another good starter. He took a chance on 2 unknown players, 1 is out for year, 1 can’t hit and can’t play decence

2. There is nothing to "figure out" with RISP. Everyone knows you want to get hits with RISP, there is not a unique skill to hitting with risp that is so different from hitting in all scenarios. It's just a matter of variance weeding itself out. The problem with offese in general though is obv the injures and lack of slug. They need to get healthy basically

8. ❤ We all have to keep in mind that the Blue Jays Postseason run was an outlier where they literally OVERPERFORMED as a team. Every single players OPS, AVG, Hits, Homeruns was WAY above their regular season and career stats during the post season (almost as if they were on PED's).

   We shouldnt have such high expectations based off their post season run as everyone eventually adjusts back to the mean.

   The Dodgers for example were actually playing below their mean (in offense) during the playoffs and they still beat us playing well above our mean. So i am not surprised to our results right now.

15. The Jays are 3rd in all of MLB in chase rate. The Jays are swinging at pitches outside the strike zone. The craziest part is they dont strikeout but instead make weak contact. They lead the MLB in fewest strikeouts but are terrible with RISP. They need to be better at identifying pitches they can drive. Their trend of committing multiple errors a game needs to stop as well. Sidenote, Schneider cant manage this tean the same as last season. Its not the same team. He needs to play the players that have a hot stick and let the cold players figure it out but not during the actual game. Throwing away games this time of the season will bite back in September.

16. why are you simping over okamoto. he doesn't bring anything to the table, get rid of him. there's no guarantee he'll ever figure things out in the mlb. and imagine what the clubhouse is like, it can't be good for chemistry having a player not being able to communicate in there, especially when everything is going wrong. never understood that acquisition from the start.

22. Those problems are a result of poor lineup construction.
    !. Springer went down and Clement was installed as the leadoff hitter and was hitting so Schneider took him out of it and put Lukes (3 hits on the year) as leadoff hitter. That was aweful so he put Schneider there who can't hit RH pitching (I am fine with playing him against LHers or down in the order against SOME RHers) . So they start the game with one out.
    2. Then Gimenez was hitting great in the 9 hole so he took him out of there and put a catcher there. So Gimenez gets on then an automatic out. 2 outs if he is playing Lukes or Schneider at leadoff.
    3. Vladdy is not getting many pitches to drive for power so he is left to just get on base with walks or base hits. Okomoto is not doing the job of protecting Vladdy or even driving him in when he does get on. Sanchez is doing ok as a hitter but he too is not installing any fear in pitchers to where they want to pitch to Vladdy. I would even say Sanchez is doing this good because they would rather pitch to him than Vladdy. Sanchez is just not the threat they need in the 4 hole to get the pitches to drive the ball for power. He might become that guy in time if he hit for more power but not as it stands.
    4. Eloy Jimenez came up to help provide power so he started to hit and then was sat on the bench for 2 games before being used as a pinch hitter, where he got a hit, then has been on the bench ever since.

    Those are just a few examples. They were bad before the injuries. They have guys that can do the job BUT they need to be playing and put in the position to do it. As mentioned in the video, group those that are hitting together and try to score some runs, then take it from there.

30. Vladdy really needs to step the F up and start hitting some home runs and doubles. His inflated OPS is making him look good but it's all a LIE! I'll prove it. With STATS!

    2023 – Vladdy had 159 hits (56 were extra base hits) 35% of his total hits were extra base hits and he averaged 1 extra bases hit for every 2.83 hits he had. Vlads OPS was .789
    2024 – Vladdy had 199 hits ( 75 were extra base hits) 38% of his total hits were extra base hits and he averaged 1 extra base hit for every 2.65 hits he had. Vlads OPS was .940
    2025- Vladdy had 172 hits ( 77 were extra base hits) 45% of his total hits were extra base hits and he averaged 1 extra base hit for every 2.23 hits he had. Vlads OPS was .848

    2026- Vladdy has 22 hits ( 5 are extra base hits) 23% of his current hits are extra base hits and he is averaging 1 extra base hit for every 4.4 hits he gets. Vlads OPS .847

    2023 was Vlads worst season as a Jay

    What is going on with 2026? He has .001 OPS less this year then in the Finals year last season yet the hitting is MUCH WORSE! His extra base hit clip has been cut in HALF and it takes double the hits it took last season just to get 1 EXTRA BASE HIT on average!
