  1. I really don’t understand how this trade makes any sense for the Browns, especially if the Giants are seeking a 1

Lawrence is ImO a win now move, but this offense is in a state where they have no win now potential

  2. Berry has said previously they will check in on every available trade possibility, not sure the price or fit makes sense with this though

  3. Don’t blame them for seeing what he’s available for if so, but this utterly screams agent shite

  4. I doubt it but for a second-round pick and the discounted cap charge that would be amazing.

  5. That would be funny, but, no thanks. The offense needs both those firsts.

  6. Trade for Dexter then get Caleb downs or sunny styles and become the 85 bears but with worse offense let’s go!

  7. Maybe we think we can win every single game 11 to 3 (two safeties and a defensive touchdown)

  8. I mean our offense sucks major dick but let’s just build the best defense ever. Fuck it.

  9. Could it be pressure on Dallas when it comes to 12 and 20? If we move 39 (a possible trade target) then they know that’s not an option to send back.

  10. Fuck it. Make the trade. Then draft Caleb Downs and another corner/linebacker in round one. Create the best defense in NFL history and win games by kicking field goals, scoring defensive TDs, and holding the opponent scoreless.

  11. I would do it for 39. And I’m sure they could make the cap work, they always do.

  12. Hm, you know, if I had a nickel for everytime the browns were talking with the giants over a talented player that new york spent a first round pick on for a trade, I’d have two nickels. It’s not a lot, but it’s strange it’s more than one

  13. I like how Berry is always looking to make the team better, except for that one trade.

  14. They could have just drafted him instead of trading for obj. Potentially righting a wrong.
