  1. it was a forced gap year technically ,we could have improved our draft position if we had a clear goal and plan after all the injuries .at this point they are no untouchables ,we need to clean house from coaching to roster and management a little.

  2. In my opinion, this team and org should focus on leaning into its strengths from now until 2031.
What I mean is we should be taking on as many low cost reclamation projects as we can.

We know this front office is at least good at finding those diamond in the rough players- Ryan Rollins, AJ Green, even Jericho Sims, and now Ousmane Dieng who looks like he could be a real developmental piece. So frankly, just do a lot more of that and don’t be afraid of taking a swing and missing. Since this team has no resources, it’s one of the only ways to generate assets.
Also take on bad contracts for other teams in exchange for picks/ other pieces. Our money is completely screwed up until 2031 anyway, with Dame’s dead money and Myles’ bad contract.
By 2031, maybe we have a legitimate team, or maybe we have enough valuable players that blowing it up could net us enough resources to start a normal rebuild

  3. We see the team Jon Horst has built. His firing is the number one offseason priority after separating from Doc. The problem with some if not most people is the unwillingness to leave well enough alone. That’s how Jon Horst destroyed a championship contender. Piece by piece he traded better players for worse (at best I view Dame as a push for Jrue and Grayson (just more O and less D) talent wise and they gave up SO many assets). Khris for Kuz in a move that gave a little wiggle room on money and lost the soul of the team…for a less talented Kuzma. Then we waived Dame and gave up a starter worth of money for 5 years and let Brook walk to get Myles. A solid center but at no point in his career as talent a player as Brook Lopez.

Jon Horst is bad at his job and the results show it. John Hammond left a gift and Jon Horst benefitted. Then after years on his own finally we see the truth. Dude’s a bum.

  4. Glad to see Frank! Hope all is well OG.

No offense to Justin, but I think him being affiliated with the team makes it tough for him to cover them in down seasons like this. Frank doesn't sugar cost anything, and tbh that's an easier listen in this type of situation.

  5. last year was more like a rebuilding start, this coming season should be the end of the rebuild with Giannis getting the extension for less money so they can bring the last pieces needed to compete for a championship…i worry more about ,who is going to be the coach?

  6. This team and coach was never going anywhere a lot of blind management and blind fans wishing rather than reality..other teams fans an announcers 😊saw it most buck fans and local media didn’t..never accountability of Gianni’s and doc

  7. It was the year of Green, worst defensive stiff in NBA – not only starting but playing 29 minutes a game, getting a ridiculous 44m contract and boy did he slack running from x to x, Horst should be fired for this

  8. To me, Taylor Jenkins is undoubtedly the best candidate to be looking at right now. I think he is somebody who could lead a competitive culture as well as lead us in a rebuild. There are not too many other candidates that are currently out there that I would entrust to do both. Plus, yes, GM has the final say in drafting, but I think the coaching staff has a huge influence on the draft and Taylor Jenkins has a great history with that as well.
