  1. Hoping this Mess team falls completely off the face of the earth!!! I want them to end up with the absolute by very far worst record in all of MLB!!! We waited Two Years for this smug punk to take the reins??? Are you kidding me or what!!! Let’s go every team who plays the Mess! Mendoza is the scapegoat for Stearns!!! Not fair! Not right! He should go too!

  2. I’m going to unsubscribe to your channel if you keep blaming g Mendoza while sheepishly mentioning the crap that Stearns assembled!!! You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken… you know what I mean!

  3. why will any of us go to citi field this year for this garbage team.maybe if they cut ticket prices in half.but even then i might not go back this season.maybe cohen needs to just gut the team and rebuild.i just cant spend my money on this team.this year.

  4. Its a wrap april and seasons over the players dont even like eachother.. And i watch pittsburgh and they are all together even w loses.. Hopefully we can get a win 10th loss…

  5. Hey, in your earlier video you were worried about not being able to cover the Mets for a living anymore. You said because they are so bad, don’t worry about it when the team you’re covering is bad your views go away up because of all the hate watching…. When was the last time you got 10,000 views in 10 hours overnight? Prob a while

  6. Besides 69' & 86'. 88' Mets, 06' Mets, 99' & 00' Mets, 24' Mets were all fun and inspiring seasons. Too many gaps in there.. This is due to Cohen hiring Stearns, it was a cultural hire. Yes I said it. A bad hire. Frankensteined this team, pitching was what it is.. It was a gamble and Stearns lost. As far as Mendoza, Stearns is comfortable because Mendoza is afable towards him. The entire season is shot.. Sell off and trade and rebuild again starting with finding a real GM and then new Manager.. Start over.

  7. It just shows you how valuable Soto is to this team. Aside from his talent his mentality is infectous to the other players. He gives an "I don't give an F who the pitcher is, I'm gonna kick your ass!" kind of attitude to every game he plays. Lindor is a very good player but he seems like he wants to be everyones friend. Just my opinion. Let's Go Mets!

  8. Maybe this is karma for Steve Cohen, buying the Mets only for the land…..where he can build his casino. 🧐🤨🫣🫠☠️

  9. You need to let a team play with each other and get in a groove, if Pete Alonso never left and Nimmo and McNeil , but we added bichette, we would be the best team in baseball, but Stearns changed the whole team and expects them to have that chemistry from day 1

  10. 17:59 Firing Mendoza won’t make Simien younger, Baty field like Keith, and Robert’s hit .300. They changed the entire coaching staff in the off season, coaches werent the problem ! Firing Mendoza won’t change a terrible constructed team. Start at the top, get rid of the architect of this team. Get rid of Stearns !

  11. Cohen should fire both Stearns and Mendoza on the same day. Hire Wally Backman and promote Carlos Beltran as a GM. Let’s go!! They need to mar a statement!!!!!

  12. This is a poorly constructed team because Stearns does not prioritize very important team intangibles and takes too many risks:

    1. How real-world experience, consistency, and reliability were removed from the team for analytic preferences. They had guys experienced stalwarts who played EVERU DAY and gave you CONSISTENT, RELIABLE production at 1B and LF, and now what they have is players who get hurt, are not comfortable, and move around every day.

    2. How too many players with redundant defensive positions were placed on the same team. It has caused a carousel of players at 1B and LF/RF that doesn’t allow those players to gain any sort of comfort level. Baty has had 3B, 2B, and 1B taken away from him and plays a different one EVERY DAY. 1B has been taken away becuase Vientos can’t play any other position – not because he’s actually earned it. How can he ever reach a level of offensive consistency when he doesn’t even know how he first into the lineup every day?

    3. How this many new players would deal with such a pressure-packed environment in NY.

    4. How this many new players would mesh together.

    5. How over-platooning and ever-changing positions have hurt the development of Bret Baty and Vientos – especially Baty. The guy gets his both of his most comfortable positions taken away from (3B/2B) and is now playing mostly the outfield – where he has little experience. And he’s only played 4 games at 1B.

  13. Well having been a Mets fan all my life and being older and living through the years when the season was really over in May, because you did not have the luxury of having half the league in the playoffs after 162 games. As for losing streaks, well the first season I can remember as a kid was 1980, now this was a year where something was weird with this team, no power at all, if I remember Lee Mazzilli led in HRs with 16 , Dave Kingman had been traded away, no one else had any kind of power so they won games hitting clutch, this was a year that saw Mookie and Hubie Brooks see time, but it was clearly a team that had NO business being 50-51 late July only 6 games out of first place. But then it happened a 5 game series with the Phillies they got outscored 40 – 16 in those games, and never recovered they had a 7 game losing streak followed by a 5 game one followed by a 13 game losing streak so they had a run of going 3 -25, and injuries happened and guys played other positions, they were getting blown out and a team some thought might win 80 games, wound up going 15 – 46 over the last 61 games. SO I know this sucks right now, but I will also say that a team like the Blue Jays who are better than the Mets are 7-13 right now. I don't think by any chance the season is over, or even unraveling, I think the problem is this year you have guys that needed to start getting use to each other, this is not a team that has been together and can figure something out, you have a few new guys in Bichette Semien Peralta Williams Polanco and a rookie in Benge and of course Robert Jr all these guys were not here and have to figure it out and Soto is not here so its a bigger hill now. What I will say is that the Mets have no leader, that can rile them up, I blame the manager to an extent because no one seems to be held accountable, also there is no team leader either, they look lost right now, and I have seen them look lost before, so its not the talent of the team its just that its not mesing together right now. There were issues coming in and we knew that, from the pitching and that has not been what it was early on last year, Senga and Peterson who were good first half are not good, Senga right now is getting lit up. Once again Clay Holmes seems like your best guy along with McLean and Peralta has been OK but he is off too. Again I will site Bobby Valentine when someone asked him about his team and they had gone on a 8-2 run he said I cant judge on that, we can go 8-2 then go 4-6 and 3-7 and then we are a .500 team and you wonder who you were, the 8-2 guys or the 3-7 guys. I mean the Mets were 7-4 and people were bragging how Soto being out was not a big deal now they go 0-10 without him so who are they?

  14. The Mets need to pull their heads out of their butts and play MEANFUL BASEBALL! EVERYONE NEEDS TO START PLAYING BASBEBALL!! Can't depend on 1 or 2 people! EVERYONE NEEDS TO STEP UP!

  15. Don't over complicate this. As fans we have been "snookered." Cohen bought the Mets to get the casino license. He gave the team to Stearns and is out of there.

  16. I've often asked myself why the Mets have a farm system that is designed to supply all the other teams with talent. Maybe Stearns can deconstruct the entire system and convince Verlander and Scherzer to come back.

  17. There is nothing fun about this team. Nothing to root for. It is hard to get excited to watch a game because you know how it will go… just like most of last season, strike out, ground out, pop up. Over and over and over.
