  5. I realized this recently: besides my family, Rick Rizzs has been the most consistent voice in my life. He started with the Mariners in 1983. I would listen to games on my Walkman or my dad's garage radio. I listened to him call this game on a live stream on my phone while I was working in the garden today. I am 51 years old.

  7. Noooooooooooooo!!! What an awful day. The Rangers and Stars both got manhandled. But on the plus side, thanks to this Seattle win, the Lastros are now alone in last place again. I wonder if we just handed them this win just so that could happen. Or maybe George Kirby still owns us. Either way, I guess we had to lose to the M's eventually. Hopefully Mackenzie Gore can get us a rare series win in Seattle tomorrow. Rangersforever❤

  8. Kirby didn't look his best, similar to Logan yesterday, but he actually got the big outs to prevent runs from scoring. Still a little concerning that scoring 7 runs wasn't a fully comfortable lead as the tying run was at the plate with power in the 9th. If the pitching can just lock in and play like they're capable of then they can go on a run of winning. But the pitching struggling puts more pressure on the bats to try and get the big hit to try and climb out of the hole early in games.

  11. That's at least the third missed challenge by Cal at catcher that I've seen already this season. How is he doing so poorly?!? I thought he would be near perfect behind the plate. Really hope he and the rest of the middle of the lineup get out of their funk sooner rather than later.

  26. Rangers are the worst when it comes to runners in scoring position… Cory Seager stinks… Berger is too fat … And the pitching is atrocious

  29. Hahahahaha! The Rangers lose! Too bad the 0 pennant Mariners won but I'll take it. Although being in last place all alone isn't that great. Oh well

  32. Yah, anywhere I went as a kid Seattle, Tacoma, driving, walking, the woods, fishing, Rizz has been there. No tv sub this year . I like hearing the waves on the beach and the Rizz southing the soul. Go M’s.
