  1. Though disappointing it’s kinda hard to argue that Kasper wasn’t the best player available in his draft class. Here’s all the other 1st rounders. Maybe you could say Nazar is better. It’s not like the Holland years where there were 4 or 5 guys around our picks that ended up being better selections. Sucks that we picked a bad time to be a bad team

  3. Soda looks like a different player. Martone is an impact player, but we send the Hobey Baker winner back to college. 

    After watching the canes and Philly games, we literally are no where close to being able to match the intensity of playoff hockey. We have a bad culture – there is no urgency. 

  5. One thing I hate about the play offs this year is that I genuinely loathe most of the teams that made it. I can only muster up some enthusiasm for the Ducks, Habs and Buffalo. The rest of them are either meh or kill with scorching hot fire. It’s hard to care.

  6. Every eastern conference game I watch im just cheering for a nuke and the end of the world with my jealousy.

    But the western conference games are fun to watch

  8. So my dad, brother and I might’ve had a few drinks last night and we were talking about what kind of dog me or my brother will get next and the answer was lab or newfy.

    Labs are fantastic but newfs may be the most charismatic dog I’ve had before and they’re lower energy than labs.

  9. I get to start prepping for my first colonoscopy, yay.

    No solid food, only clear liquids, and the diarrhea juice i get to drink twice.

    Likely for them to tell me nothing is wrong (except the assteroids, but meh) so I can be *even more* frustrated with my declining quality of life and throw myself (and the rapidly dwindling finances) at *even more* doctors who will tell me I’m “fine.”

    I’m almost 50. I feel like I’m 90. Nobody can tell me what’s wrong with me except, “Lol, 48 years of treatment-resistant depression can do that to a person.”

  11. Funny to see Soderblom and Mantha with tag team horrible defense on a Flyers goal last night. Is the honeymoon in Pitt already over for Soda? Played about 10 minutes, -1, and didn’t record a hit. Not a strong playoffs introduction for him.

  19. This is completely trivial, but I think this team/organization could benefit from better social media content. What I mean by this is more team/player content. When they do post, it’s usually good, but I wish they did more. I know this is something a lot of people don’t care about, but I think it’s a good way to bring in new fans and show the player’s personality more. I don’t know if anyone has watched BHTV (Black Hawks TV), but it did a great job at doing fun things with the players. On top of that the editing was great

    The Red Wings have a solid fanbase, but this type of content also increases the marketability and popularity of players.
