Before anyone mentions this (as I've seen it said on other posts across NFL subreddits), the fact that LEGO has no official NFL licensing does not matter for this.

The Ideas concept is simply to gauge interest in how many people actually want a set made. Plenty of LEGO Ideas projects have had no real LEGO rights prior and still gone on to be made into a set (Power Rangers/Godzilla/ET/Golden Girls sets were all just approved last year with no previous iterations/rights.)

Can't hurt to vote and push up the popularity of it and show LEGO/the NFL we want some quality stuff!

  1. Don’t they have a license with that other company? No way this gets made.

But if it does I’m in

  2. If this gets approved then they get 1% of sales, let’s help our buddy out!

Edit: did some research on this, unfortunately this will almost certainly not be an official set. NFL is super strict on trademark and merchandizing rights. AFAIK LEGO has no official partnerships with the NFL, and pretty unlikely they’d figure out that hurdle for a fan supported option…

…unless of course we completely demolish the fan support link and it convinces them to take a closer look…

I’m still voting, but we shouldn’t get our hopes to high up.

  3. Man i havent done Legos in years but always loved them when I was a kid. Id for sure buy this and assemble it with my kid to display it along with other packer collectibles. Cool as heck.

  4. this caption to this post fundamentally misunderstands the issue at hand. the issue is not that there is no partnership with lego and the NFL, it’s that there is an existing partnership with the company BRXLZ which makes brick building toys for many major american sports leagues. please do your research
