3. I'm from Minnesota, and I didn't expect such an outcome like this! Perhaps this is the Wild's year,especially since Wally is our goalie!

4. Wild came to prove they’re legit contenders. To the note of weak penalty calls, though, Dallas also benefited from what I thought was an incredibly soft slashing penalty where the stick hit nothing but stick and didn’t break it

7. It is not unheard of that pro sports teams throw games for bigger ratings that equal more $$$$$$ down the line.
   Also, the “Wild” is the worst nickname in sports today. The “North Stars” was the best! Remember Norm “Greed”? He was a disaster for MN hockey fans. The name says it all.

8. The question comes down to coaching. If you're Hynes i think the biggest take away is that you just watched the bottom 6 hang with Dal top lines. So id imagine he focuses on line mismatching and keeps the focus on the physicality.

   Wtf do you do if you're Gulu? The only bright spot seemed to be in the 2nd period after the 4th goal. Thy moved from trying to win he game to trying to grind the wild physically to wear them down for next game and it was working out ok and opened up room for the top guys to get some chances. I guess you harp on hitting and maybe direct an extra guy into the board battles since they lost every one of them…. i dont know man that was a rough game from a Dal coaching perspective.

   As a Wild fan we have seen this movie before.
   I Wild will be the mild until they are not!

10. as a neutral fan I dont know why people are acting like this is done, dallas usually sucks game 1 which begs the question :why can no dallas coach get them to take game 1 seriously

11. The last game I watched I though Gus completely blew that game with weak soft goals. Plus the games he was in after he looked…not good. And thought if he starts the playoffs, this team is going to be in trouble. Coaching saw that too obv and made the better call. The amount of rebounds that were not allowed was pretty insane and really lead to Dallas inability to score.

14. Well, the wild had rested many players in last few games probably were still bitter from that lose to Stars in regular season. So im not shocked, now if stars lose game #2 then we will need to do some panic to go to game 7, but maybe this is wild's year, i just hate if they do beat stars, but then get lost in the hype for round 2 vs Aves, on that not i think they can beat the Aves, i dont think stars can beat the Aves especially if this searies goes to 7.

15. I have been a Stars fan since I can literally remember, and I just don’t see much heart from our team lately. I picked the wild in 6 or 7 anyway, just sucks and makes me apathetic as a fan

18. Ss a Wild fan i have to say im very impressed with how they played. However, they do this EVERY year game 1 of the playoffs. They come out hot with a 2-1 series lead and then lose 3 in a row. Or go 2-0 and lose 4.

    I'm hoping a praying they break the curse this yr. This team has come a LONG WAY, but Dallas is no joke, either.

20. This series comes down to if the wild dmen can keep the stars forwars out of the high danger areas and if either team can convert of the pp. If the stars can get in tight they can sore a ton. We will see #gowild

21. I think there’s something wrong in the locker room.
    You can’t have all this talent and then not see it explode.
    They were lazy in every department.
    In my opinion, MN didn’t even play that hard as compared to regular season games. They just figured out that Dallas not there.
    But I’m telling you, if it’s not something in the locker room, NHL management told the boys to play at 1/4 speed for the build up drama.
    Even Quinn being sick was circling like an angry shark.
