Before posting, I asked the mods if it was okay, and I got the green light. I'm going to try to make this a weekly thing, as long as I remember lol.

Standings info is all from MLB.com, so it's just a copy of what MLB.com says as of 4/13/26 this morning.

  7. What’s notable right now with the standings is how balanced they are. There is only one team in all of MLB (Dodgers at 11-4) that doesn’t have a record between 10-6 and 6-10.

    No teams have gotten buried in the standings already, which is unusual.

  9. Other than the White Sox and Rockies, I highly doubt the other 4 current last place teams will be in last by the end of the season

  11. I’ve been watching how stinky the Phillies have been. Nats and Mets must have been even more pungent. Yikes.

  13. With a couple exceptions (NL West mostly) these are all pretty much upside down from what was predicted pre season. How fun.

  17. Twins, Rays, Pirates in first, Marlins in 2nd… definitely not on my bingo card really at any point in the season

  22. As a Pirates fan, I’m trying to not get too excited. Have to temper my expectations.

  31. Whoa! Not sure what to do up here! Went to New York expecting a train wreck, just surprised we were not in the wreck.

  32. Haven’t watched a single pitch this season because I hate the Pohlads and it makes me too sad to watch this team knowing that they’re owned by such pieces of shit, but maybe the Twins can pull a Major League and shock the world. Probably not, but it’s fun to dream.
