I’m a canes fan and I’m tired of the “we got goalied” narrative. Sadly we just don’t finish huge chances like the rest of the league does. Wide open net? Lemme shoot it center net and let the goalie have a chance. While most other players still aim far side of where the goalie is coming from. Whoever the canes are playing will undoubtedly be at the top or very close to the top of this list. Kills me but sadly I believe this is true. I’d love to be proven wrong.

I can’t put much stock in this because Skinner has been rock solid. Defense is leaving him out to dry.

He’s been very good.
Not sure how he let in two bad goals.
Before people torch Skinner, you have to look at the D in front of him. They have been dreadful and he has done everything he can to bail us out. This doesn’t tell the complete story…

So..so far ottawas defense is not what their “amazing analytics” from the regular season suggested or what?
I wonder if last night was stus first shutout playoff loss. no shade i think hes playing well and the only reason the pens have been competitive
Whoever made this needs a swift kick in the nuts. Ully at 9.63EGA and Skinner 3.2EGA? I want what theyre smoking.
