We sucked in that overtime, but we also should’ve had a 3 minute power play to start it. Refs having no back bone once again. I heard excuses “well you’re not gonna call that in game 2 of the playoffs heading into a possible overtime”. And why exactly not? It was a dirty dangerous hit that deserved a 5 minute penalty. But I forgot refs don’t call anything or have a back bone in playoff hockey.
I wonder how the refs helped Tampa this time

Last time we’re seeing 77 in a Habs jersey
Sabers Bruins 1-1, Habs Tampa 1-1.
Not mad about it.
To my fellow Habs fans in here complaining about the calls: we did not lose that because of the reffing. We lost it because we didn’t get a shot in OT and Tampa was all over us. Great game, heck of a series so far. We got away with our fair share of non calls too.
As soon as Dach iced it I had a gut feeling that they’d score. Brutal icings costed us this game.
Not sure I understand the anger at the refs today. Montreal fizzled at the end of the game even when TB donated them PP chances
Tampa dominated that entire OT. Textbook forechecking had Montreal gassed trying to get a breakout going.

That overtime period was the worst period they played. How can you do a great job for three period and the play in overtime like you have given up.

I know Hab fans are pissed, fair enough. But when it boils down to it – if someone told us 2 games ago that we’d leave Tampa 1-1 in the series, most reasonable fans would be pretty happy. Game’s over, give yer balls a tug, get ready for next game.
Great game too bad about the goonsmanship but very entertaining. Habs regardless of that loss played better.
